The Obsidian Community all-time top 106 games - FULL RESULTS!
Azdeus replied to algroth's topic in Computer and Console
Conspiracy is the only reasonable explanation. I suspect Deidranna Reitman is involved somehow. We need to contact Enrico Chivaldori somehow, I know he will help. -

Indeed, despite our combined efforts it wasn't enough. I suspect foul play, someone must've deleted the mails sent to algroth. -
Suggestion; Sweden. Things to see; Swedes. Things to do; Swedes.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - 'NON-FAKE-NEWS EDITION'

But what if I don't have any other interests than gaming? -
My father listened to that album when I was young, remember really disliking it, so I'm pretty certain that I will still dislike it. So I'll pass, thank you though

Sounds like something I ought to get myself, that or a bunny.

Yeah, still had to try though, don't have anything else so worth a shot *Shrug*

Trying, but **** keeps piling up. Even if the car looks like a brown turd it's my car, won't get anything from insurance on it, so I have to pay for the repairs on my own. I've been working tonnes of hours and days extra to get money to improve the car and now all that is going to repairs, and I spent about 3000$ recently to improve the handling wich is now all for naught. Did get a bunch of benzos to keep my chill, but... well... I don't feel they like they do anything.

So, more good stuff. Was going home from work sunday eve on the motorway, when a car cut into my lane when I was going to overtake him in a turn. I stepped on the brakes, got into a skid and hit the rails three times, and did a 360. Smashed the indicator covers on the front, some plastic details, plate in the left front wing and rear, and the bumper, bumper struts and frontcarriage has moved about 2mm to the left. The ****sucker that cut into my lane took off as did the two witnesses. Guess they were late for their TV shows. For chirstmas I wish them all a long life full with broken bones, chronic disease and incurable cancer, ebola, malaria and anthrax for their loved ones. Also, the ambulance personel reacted to my 250/147 bloodpressure and asked if I would go to the ER. Relented when the cops offered to drive my car to the ER and spent the night in an ICU were they pumped me full of meds to lower the BP. So kudos to those two cops, also kudos for not actually acting of their fears, by their own confession they were scared ****less of me when I was describing the incident like "A growling bear that was ready to tear of someones head if a soft breeze rolled by" Now I'm going to recover some sleep, only got an hour or two shuteye at the ICU since they kept taking BP readings and injecting sedatives.

Good God, I hope you actually went to the appointment! That's hypertensive crisis there, brother. I would have thought they would admit you for readings that high. I hope you're feeling better and, more importantly, your blood pressure came down. EDIT: I'm doing nothing today. I plan on doing nothing I don't want to do for the next few weeks. Probably won't work, but that's what I'm planning. I'm going there on monday, I want to meet my doctor, the one that referred me to the lung specialist and keep the same one instead of many different doctors. Edit; Oh, and I got myself one of those self test apparatus, at home and after a shower and actually being relaxed, averaged about 170/100. Still not good, but it's something.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - 'NON-FAKE-NEWS EDITION'

Too bad it's Take 2 that is behind it, I don't trust them not to cut out things and sell them back to us at a later date. Edit; Nevermind that, just saw a post in the Obsidian General forum saying they don't have that in their contract. -
No, it's insanely high. I smoke, but that's it for risk increases for such bloodpressure. What had happened was that I had agreed to go to work to get a tug licence for work during my vacation, and when I got there I was told it was cancelled. They hadn't thought to call me, so when I came home and was talking about it with the my postman I started caughing and blood came up. My bloodpressure spiked so badly that I began to bleed in the lungs. http://www.bloodpressureuk.org/BloodPressureandyou/Thebasics/Bloodpressurechart I should also mention that I really hate hospitals, hadn't slept well and hadn't had any cigarettes before the procedure wich really doesn't help.
-
Had my bronchoscopy this morning, and for the first time in ages someone took my bloodpressure; 220/114 iirc. Got pumped with 3 times the normal amount of anaesthetics before the procedure wich did **** all, much to mine and the doctors consternation. Anyway, they found no faults in my lungs, they suppose that my bloodpressure is the reason for the bloody coughs I've had. The bronchoscopy was awful, felt like I was drowning at times and now my throat is sore as ****, and I'm tired as hell since I've had basically no sleep... Going to my GP tomorrow or monday to talk to her about my bloodpressure.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - 'NON-FAKE-NEWS EDITION'

Wow, thanks to you guys, I'm going to be dreaming about Alpha Protocol all night and will have to replay it in the coming days, setting me back on my games list. Hope you're happy. -
Thanks Yeah, I think it will be. Considering that I haven't caughed up any blood for a week it was probably nothing serious. But I'll know in a few days for sure. Going to cost me heaps of money though, alot of overtime hours that I will miss out of. Also, weathers lovely, 5-10cm's of snow and a slight chill. Wish it could be somewhat colder but its something!

Went to the doctors today, got some bloodwork done, and EKG. Going to get a CT-scan tomorrow and a bronchoscopy on thursday. Mostly annoyed that I won't be allowed to drive on thursday

Always loved Nightwish, became an even bigger fan when Marco joined them. By the by, noone does crazyeyes as well as Marco does.

That's just something childless people tell themselves. Quite right, every time I see my friends black bags under their eyes. --- Still have a couple of days left on my vacation, and my boss had decided that today and tomorrow were perfect days to plan for me and my coworkers to get licenced to drive our tugs. He had planned this after I planned my vacation, but I want the licence so I had agreed to come in anyway and do the course. Arrived at work 15 minutes before we were about to start my coworkers greeted me, insanely happy that I was there but confused wondering what I was doing; Turns out the course was cancelled because they had too much to do. Really pleased that I had to drive 100km's to find that out. Really, I am. Spent the day instead with the doctor, taking lung x-rays and such. Got prescribed a bloodclotting drug and told to wait for a specialist to call me or send a letter. Going to pick up my meds in a while and then head to my friends for some D&D. Been GM'ing my old campaign the past few weeks, at the moment they've been set up by a green dragon acting as a noble. The characters are quite high levelled and the Helmite cleric of the group decided that, **** it, don't want to trudge through a court hearing - Divine Intervention power; "Helm! Bring us to the one responsible for this!" rolls his dice and succeeds. Both the dragon and the group finding themselves in his lair are quite surprised.
