Yeah, ch 4 went horrible broken for me. The only reason why I've put up with it is the setting, anything that has to do with the mechanics causes me to grind my teeth. @majestic It's pretty neat in that he pops 600-700 damage over an 3x3 area and that he get's AP back from one of his background feats, and as a massive bonus you don't have to have Argenta in your party

I've grown bored with all the bugs in the game now, not to mention how badly balanced it is with stacking bonuses and whatnot, but one of the bolters I got hold of somewhere kept upping its burstfire rate so that I empty the mag each burst. It also dealt demolitions/10 bonus damage on each shot. With concentrated fire and some other stacking items I splatted what should be a pure horror boss in the first salvo.

Random video game news... Games are Randomly News Worthy

I'm getting a sense of deja vu here, wasn't this already a thing? -
Had Pasqal oneshot her and half her entourage with his plasmagun. 2xINT (Not int BONUS) extra damage actually has the game feel like it's actually 40k-ish/Rogue Tradery.

Watched Die Hard and Lethal Weapon. And ate christmas food. -
The ruleset is their own butchering from the Fantasy Flight tabletop roleplaying games. D100 based, but the similarity ends after that and the attributes.

Been out of that foot brace I've been hobbling around with and **** does my foot feel weird. And really weak. I usually walk on my toes when barefoot, but nope, not a chance. I often do some "exercises" when standing still, just using the toes on one foot to lift myself up, that's completely out the window. Not to mention the foot is amazingly swollen from fluid build ups. The worst part was discovering that the foot is too weak to depress the clutch on my car. I curse myself a wee bit for buying a reinforced pressure plate for 500nm of engine power. -

99% of modern cars have low profile tyres, that would be the simplest way to get a more comfortable ride. When I upgraded my car to a sports suspension kit I there was a crazy difference when I put my winter tyres on that has just 10% larger profile. When I grew up my neighbour had problems with his back and he needed a good ride in his cars, he only had Citroen cars. I don't know if that is even true today or if they are available in the US. Edit; My grandfather also had lots of trouble with his back and hips, he only drove Mercedes because of that. -
I never had a problem with the concept of Arena back in the day, I had more issues with crossrealm being a thing. I called it back then that it'd kill of communities and I didn't like the arena having a separate system from the honour system. I didn't think Arena was as fun as BG's either so that sucked, but I still did it to a pretty high rank. I always prefered 5v5 which basically noone liked. Almost disliked it as much as mentioned dailies/weeklies -.- Selling cosmetics/expansions is one thing, but blatant pay to win is something people should work themselves up against. Peoples lack of engagement against the practice is why we are were we are afterall.

From what I remember they spoke about the charts and not that all old warp routes being gone

Definetly before, Koronus Expanse is in Segmentum Obscurus which definetly has a right to that name now that Cicatrix Maledictum had explosive diarrhea, and they still navigate by the Astronomican. Would be hard to do afterwards since the Eye of Terror is very near right between Koronus Expanse and Terra. Edit; In the top left of the above the red zone you see the Halo Stars, just south east of that you will see Footfall and port Wander

Timesavers are quite firmly in the pay to win pocket. If two people people have 10 hours each to play, and one player can pay for a timesaver that saves him 2 hours doing boring tedious stuff like grinding for resources for raids they will have an advantage over the player that can't pay his way out of it in that he can spend that time raiding for more gear. Not to mention the fact that once games start taking money for "timesavers" you run into situations like some Assassins Creed that was tedious as all hell if you didn't pay for xp boosters. Not the impressions I've had of him, but ok Easy or not, it's still an advantage that people with money spent has over those without money, to the point it'd feel insurmountable. And PvP carries are fairly common too I reckon, me and some friends used to carry other friends in PvP. People tend to learn relatively fast on how to play. Or they'll just buy a bot. WotLK 2200+ arenas were kinda nuts from what I recall.

There are limits to my cruelty towards food, but in this case it'll also be limited since it's mostly breadsticks, taralli, prosciutto, olives, olive oil, pasta that I don't want to hobble downstairs to check the name of, and some tomato sauce -

I got a delivery of christmas goodies from the union for being on long time medical leave. Some pretty tasty italian delicacies. -
In endgame you can literally buy gear, there are guilds willing to take you through raids for wow tokens. I don't feel like combing through actman or asmongolds 1h+ videos for the tweet right now, but even Blizzard staff were doing it with their guilds. Is it not pay to win If I tomorrow reactivate my account, boost my character and use wow-tokens to surpass your item level in a week or two? Does it even come close to being fair and right to you and the time (I assume ) and effort you put into the game? If we were to fight in an open world or arena pvp situation and inevitably win, is that satisfactory outcome for you? Edit; Found an decent article

The whole point of escapism is to get away from being constructive, I have enough of that. I do generally ignore games like that, but when you start to play the games way before they introduce pay to win mechanics you are still effected. For instance, I started WoW in 2005 and didn't entirely stop until they started to dip into pay to win with Cataclysm in iirc 2010 with that store mount /spit. Planetside 2 I was a beta tester for, and it didn't become clearly apparent until release how pay to win it was. I think I lasted two evenings or something before I lost it.

Except it's exploitative as Hawke pointed out, and when it effects everyone else having their enjoyment ruined because someone decided to pay 2 games worth of money for an advantage it's not much fun. People buying gold in WoW used to be annoying but fairly uncommon, but now Blizzard has monetized that aswell, why spend weeks grinding gold for something when you can just chuck Bobby 25$? I remember how much fun it was in Planetside 2 at release when people immediately bought flyers weeks before tanks could grind out AA-guns effectively making them completely defenceless sitting ducks if that was your prefered playstyle, preventing them from getting even a chance at grinding for defences. So no, it's ****ing bad. Games are escapism, to have the rich people of the world get their advantages taken into escapism is ****ing awful.

It's pay to win though, especially if they were to implement looting companions or "early access" to certain weapons/items Not a lick surprised though, they've been milking their customers for years and gamers deserve this for buying the **** from the start, gamers deserve the giant pecker heading for their rectum.
