Fallout game on here, maybe?
Uhm, I'm not sure what fantasy styling means! Anyway, I'll go ahead and try. Bear with the typos and bad grammar, it's 10:36 pm in Italy! Jack 'Jackie' Charles Sex and gender: Male (although it's always difficult to tell with those ghouls..) Profession: Conman - Previously: Hobo, radio host Race: Glowing One (ghoul) Previously: Human Jack's a man of simple tastes and talents really, moderately good with a gun, horrible at sneaking due to to his glowing skin, and extremely good at convincing people that his latest Ponzi scheme is actually a brilliant idea. Since he's extremely old and a pre-war ghoul * he tends to be privy to knowledge of the old world most wastelanders wouldn't be, and uses it in favor of his conman activity. His most prestigious occupation back in the day was a decent radio hosting gig (his luck would turn dry later and he ended up a hobo just before the war) so he isn't actually as cultured as he'd like to appear, but he still obviously knows a lot more about pre-war America than your average wasteland scum. If I'd have to describe it in terms of the original Fallout system, I'd say it'd be a character that tagged speech, guns and barter, with maybe a few spare points thrown in first aid and gamble. Average luck and intelligence, high charisma and perception, low agility, strength and endurance. * I'm not sure how I feel about the idea of a pre-war ghoul but it's supported by canon. Ofc, if you think it's too unbalanced I can change that.

K cool. I think I'll get it eventually, just a bit later. Weird, because I don't usually enjoy third person shooters, hated the Gears of War titles.

Do you want Alpha Protocol 2?
Well, it's not impossible, it's just extremely extremely unlikely. Still, Alpha Protocol doesn't exactly have a lot tied to its IP, and in fact starting fresh would be better (besides, maybe changing the setting and just keeping similar but improved mechanics would also help with that disconnect between gameplay and story).. I don't think Obsidian could be very successful selling the concept ot a publisher based on their past efforts, and so far Kickstarter wouldn't really be able to support a game of this budget.

Wait.. h-how is Binary Domain like Alpha Protocol? Wasn't Alpha Protocol's defining characteristic the fact that it offers different playstyles and plenty of consequences for even small choices? While it's my understanding from the press/fans coverage and the demo that Binary Domain it's essentially an interesting TPS with a couple of unusual mechanics that also happens to be made in Japan? Am I missing something? (I'm serious and I don't want to dismiss what you're saying, I just genuinely don't understand the angle.)

South Park RPG pops up for pre-order at Greemangaming
...how that would even make sense considering German titles are more expensive on Steam? Besides, Green Man Gaming has its own client and doesn't sell Steam/Origin games exclusively. It seems like reaching to me.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dawnguard announced. Coming Summer 2012 on Xbox 360. More details coming at E3. ..I should ask Bethesda to hire me as PR dude if it's that easy, damn. (I know it's not.)

Witcher2
There is a "Dark Edition" for the Enhanced Edition PC yeah, but even normal retail for PC was pretty good as far as goodies, as was the collector's edition (or what it was called).

It's a grey area, frankly, and I prefer not dabble in that. Mordred is p. fine with it though, so more power to him. Either way, it's not exactly what people think of when they mention sales and slashed prices.

Witcher2
I have to admit, I kinda regret going digital with this one... then I remember that Dark Souls Limited Edition already threatens my limited space with its mini-artbook and I guess I can see why I made the choice. Plus, who knows, maybe in the future I'll grab the box..

It's already on sale, bro! He meant a legal one. And there's a demo out there on PC, although, from what I've seen, it's not that good of a port. Black bars when use my native resolution, no chance to select whether I want to use my gamepad or the keyboard, meaning that all the prompts I see on screen are for the gamepad... on the other hand, the game runs flawlessly on max settings, so that's pretty good. PS3 version, at least in the demo, was running sub-30 I think.

FO: NV (DLCS) Discussion
They clumsily justified by Caesar wanting to keep the Legion ignorant of technology.. but of course, that kind of ideological stance is not particularly reinforced in the game (I'm willing to concede that it's probably done to show Caesar's hypocrisy). Still, it's pretty stupid. Honestly, that seems like lost potential to me.. it could have easily been a way to attach you to a Legion companion, while a speech character might have convinced Caesar that he or she acts better alone, etc... but then again, resources limitations I'm not considering, hindsight 20/20 etc.

Any descent gaming news/reviews site?
By "isn't bad" and "sometimes I go there" they really mean that GameBanshee is made of awesome, fun and rad-tigers. Seriously.

Risen 2: Dark Waters
It's cool, but I wouldn't know where to hold that stuff. In fact, I'm still holding the SKyrim map in a drawer.
