Diablo 3 Sign-Up
I only played the Wizard, and maybe it gets better with other classes at higher levels/difficulties, but it was definitely the most boring title I've played this year. The genre's not for me, I guess.

What are you playing now?
Geez, you're asking them to not spend money on useless flyers and pollute a little bit more?

What are you playing now?
What? Catwoman is in every first-hand copy of the PC version. Admittedly, I bought the game on Steam, but there was no need for a code or anything, the game just has the DLC integrated.

I.. have no idea what you're talking about here.

You are not too old yet to do a comic book guy impersonation on this forum, so don't use that excuse now buddy.

Wasteland 2 Kickstarter
I know the game can be ****ty. I'm happy that things like this are pointing to publishers and the industry in general that projects like this are financially viable. Jeff Vogel and a few indie can do only so much by themselves. P.S. : Yes, I'm also genuinely excited about the names attached, I don't think I would have donated if it was unproven people.. managing risk and all that.

Witcher2
To be fair, they never made a big deal of the fact that you could import your saves. But yeah, it's definitely disappointing.

Layoff hits Obsidian?
PROJECT FUNCROC. And then he explodes.

Patrick Mill's blog: Halbech (Rome), Lost but not forgotten.
Ah! Glad they at least canned that skyline, Rome was pretty disappointing when compared to the Moscow hub, very little care put in the details (no idea about Taipei).

Witcher2
I was actually hoping they'd port back the new, more natural lighting conditions to the PC version, but early reports indicate that they didn't do so. Oh well, if there's a demand they probably will later, and it's not like the game on PC looks bad. Is the lighting dynamic in the 360 version? That's what the DF analysis says, but, as a layman, it seems to me that the differences are more in how they set up the lightsources, bloom settings and HDR rather than PC having prebaked lighting or whatever.

That's how it's always been though, it's not new to the EE.

$55 is the digital special edition *if* you want more stuff and don't want to deal with that hassle (I took my chances and went with the $75 box). Nothing bad if you're satisfied with the $30 tier though.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
That's unlikely to be an in-game shot. More like a shot out of a teaser trailer.

...I'm pretty sure that was virumor's description.

Wasteland 2 Kickstarter
4 hours left and then we're in the last day of their Kickstarter drive. Will be interesting to see how much they make at the end.

As expected and yet surprisingly well done
They had, but the guy who was responsible for getting the franchise, getting the title developed and that kept close ties with Obsidian during the cycle left, so who knows.

Cartoon/Anime/Comic settings you would like to see a rpg set in
Ehr.. why?

Wasteland 2 Kickstarter
Yeah, after reading the FAQ and Fargo responding to it pretty clearly in the past... But either way, it's good that they keep responding and clarifying, not everyone is up to date after all.

It's a pretty great tier now.. we'll most likely see a good chunk of people choosing that or upgrading from $15. Probably should have been done before, but better late than never.
