Indeed Jaesun, indeed... Hopefully Dungeon Siege III won't have that kind of problem (even Alpha Protocol had minor camera problems).

And that wouldn't be so bad with me, considering it's been a lot of time I played a decent action-adventure game (read : not another testosterone filler cover-based shooter). But to be honest, I don't want to dump too much money with this Steam sales, it's too easy to just go 'ooh this costs so little! I'll grab it!' and end up with spending a hundred bucks.

It's not a bad game, but it's not a great game either. Still, if you liked RE4 it's worth a try (and the port wasn't bad this time). Never played RE4. I played like... 10 minutes of RE2 (it was a 'present' and the disc were scratched too ), but as far as I know from 4 onward they changed the gameplay radically.. in the end I just decided to grab Gothic 2 Gold and Gothic 3

What the hell has that to do with what I was talking about?

(old) PC for me. I experience texture loading with the models for armors in the clearing house and the inventory. I do too, but not anymore than I did with Batman : Arkham Asylum and Mass Effect, actually often Alpha Protocol's texture load faster (this, even before I tweaked the .ini files). Alpha Protocol is far from a marvelous piece of technical work, but I don't think they did too bad on that.. with the PC version at least, that's why I was asking.

Out of curiosity, what platform are you playing on? Because texture loading is one of the things that I think a lot of people cried about and I never had any problems with it on PC. I'm curious about how much it's worse on PS3/XBOX360.

So, does RE5 PC deserve a playthrough? I'm almost tempted.

Note that they were showcasing a proof of concept quest, which means that probably they weren't ready to showcase the real content of the game, but still wanted to show the engine, systems etc. Hopefully we'll see something substantial soon (like a trailer or a couple of screenshots).

Dragon Age DLC Leliana's Song interview and trailer. Apparently it will have a dialogue system similar to ME (lines are summary of what Leliana is going to say, and of course, it's going to be voiced).

Seriously? I understand why you may dislike that aspect but it's hardly the main feature of the game.. EDIT : Alpha Protocol -33% (34 € in Europe).
