Because that was an inside job. You don't even need drones to do a bad thing just a car full of propane tanks and fertilizer, send a few out to key locations and massive terror strike. The only two reasons I can think of as to why they don't it is that either they are just opportunists that just want to cement their power bases on the Middle East or that they are incapable of even conceiving such an attack. The latter seems less likely as they often do this type of attacks on occupied territory.

We need to go deeper

I think that it was just that what makes it worthy of recognition, because it was just bad enough to kill the franchise without reeking of sabotage. Upon closer inspection however you begin to see just how ridiculous this movie is. Sounds like you never took a closer look at the preceding films. Did one of the extras looked like he slip on a banana peel because he fell 2 seconds before batman was even near him? Did the main bad guy had the funniest voice ever?

It doesn't bode well with me that a movie will make a joke of itself deliberately, just doing a shoddy job so that people make fun of it. Although I forgave The Dark Knight Rises because it is a good study on how to ruin a franchise to get out of contractual obligations (I know what you did Nolan) I'm getting the feeling that the Suicide Squad is just doing it for laughs. I don't like when people produce things contemptuously.

Very subtle.

No but I wouldn't mind being frisked by her.

Well I guess only time will tell but so far our social experiment is working for us Next you should tackle homelessness, just hide them away and pretend they're in a happy place. It will also work for you since it seem that you care less about the actual issue than about mending your feelings.

I don't really understand your question or how it applies to what I said. Can you clarify? Just that a state government while not directly subordinate to the Federal government is still an institution. So if police are racially profiling it counts as being institutionalized. Or is your point that institutional discrimination is non existent?

well, we likely know the most relevant context: location, location, location. http://www.npr.org/programs/atc/features/2001/nov/cincinnati/011101.cincinnati.html http://www.wcpo.com/news/local-news/nearly-12-years-after-riots-cincinnati-race-relations-improving-but-more-progress-needed http://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/local/colerain/2015/05/08/colerain-police-department-taking-proactive-approach-race-relations/26988701/ http://www.newrepublic.com/article/119133/cincinnatis-2001-race-riots-reveal-solutions-fergusons-unrest the State prosecutes crimes, not the victim. the State has reasons to be cautious in this... case. HA! Good Fun! 40 people, that goes well beyond a simple beating and that not one of them looked at themselves and realized that a mob that size could kill one person. Or I guess they didn't care, I would go further and say that they lacked simple humanity but that might assuming too much. Even though they probably do.

Police and courts are part of the government aren't they? So how come they treat some crimes one way and others a different one, isn't that segregation?

And that is a good thing. Well, it would be better if it was governed by character stats. I couldn't care less about fighting games. But in RPGs, I hate it when my ability to fast-click the mouse or smash at the keyboard becomes the most important thing. His waxing lyrical about positioning, blocking, special moves, dodging and all this crap is what ruins an RPG for me. AAA or not. [/OT] Also, how is the video relevant to the topic? And that's why you have easy difficulty, so that less skilled people can play the game. Yet the problem is with the core mechanics and how tame their are, lots of flash but no control or strategy.

Say what you will, I'd rather chase a pointer than to run around pointlessly because of a vague quest description.

Sorry to rerail this thread but this ain't the "Bruce improvement thread".

Some systems are superior to others.

Consistency is for chumps.

I'm not all that bothered by the specifics, it's very probably he's guilty.

Those damn ladders, specially the one in the bathhouse.

One man hardly a culture makes, so please bring evidence of how the majority of contemporary Hollywood is currently engage in non consensual sex. As that is the only thing that can be called raped and that its the only magnitude that makes a culture. So don't call a glass an ocean. Fair enough, I'll drop the whole "culture of rape that exists in some circles" I don't feel like a debate around semantics when in fact all I'm trying to do is highlight the fact that rape is a problem in most societies and Cosby is looking more and more guilty Interesting that you are more concerned with trying to prove me wrong than the substance of the article? Interesting that every case becomes a soapbox to preach the feminist gospel. Now there is evidence that Cosby did commit those crimes, before he was just being accused and being tried by the public. At this point is probably safe to assume that he's guilty, yet I don't see how that a rape culture makes.

Teenagers, technically. Somehow is easier for me to believe that 12 years olds are more capable of murder than 6 years old. Probably because some of the ones I've met are very keen on stabbing people.

Hottest Weather Girl EVER Is Blowing Up the Internet
Orogun01 replied to ktchong's topic in Way Off-Topic
Sure, I agree that in the media aesthetics play a part and I'm sure have a degree of influence around hiring policies But its not all about good looks, the person still has to be competent to get the job. And that is what is overlooked by some when they see someone like that weather girl ...some people will immediately think " well there is someone who only got hired because of her looks " And what they don't realize is they are unintentionally adding to the culture of objectifying women by only looking at her from one angle And what you don't realize is that people only care about what others can do for them, that's why things that are considered universally good bring joy to everyone. Beauty is valuable because everyone appreciates it, brains are only considered valuable after they come up something useful for everyone. So if women want to be appreciated by their brains then they can hide their beauty and do useful things. Now stop whining about non-issues. -
One part of the trial that has been making the rounds around the web is the prosecutor saying that if this were a man he would have gotten the maximum penalty. I don't always agree with laws that send people to jail needlessly but I also don't like double standards along class, gender or race.
