Why? I mean... Music is just as important in gaming as it is in any other media. I've played 45 min so far and from what I can tell, the narration and voice acting is what will make it good for me. I'm okay with horror if it's done right, I loved The Evil Within and I'm getting the vibe of that from Alan Wake mixed with some Max Payne stylished drama. Nine of which is bad in my world. Good horror games are 90 % ambiance.

Got it, tried it and I think I won't be buying any western JRPGs for the near future. It's just a weak imitation of cultural norms made by people that don't understand them and that avoid any originality that it might have in order to be more like the Japanese cliches. All in all the same issues that these type of games run into, combat isn't as calculated and refined as JRPGS (very far from it) dialog comes off as awkward, stiff and unnatural (probly because they're trying to sound like anime dubs). Full disclosure I barely played 10 minutes into the game and I"m already dissapointed, I hope to be wrong but this seems to be more of a fan project than an actual game.

I figure I will need something to do when I retire.

Is it any good? It's $2.99, who cares if it's good. Wasted money is still wasted money. If it looks interesting and it's cheap I would most likely get a game, this game was actually recommended to me a few years back when it came out but I put it off. Now that its so cheap I would like to see if it was worth it. Point is that the risk is minimal.

Darn it, I forgot about dane axes. well, is that last skill in throwing free action? Its not in tooltip, also what stat is damage for throwing? It ain't about damaging, the free throw has a chance to give someone the harried status and there is a perk that increases damage against harried enemies. So free throw leads to harried plus charge equals one hit kill. Shields are good in a support role, either stunning enemies for deathblow or using protect to buff companions.

There is, ten is the limit, and one doesn't need assistance to test. Sorry, I'm a weirdo that gets joy out of activities that involve people other than myself. I think that is a condition called being social or something.

I might be wrong but no bad stories of Hermes come to mind....He was the god of plagues and thieves though.

It seems like the best solution is to get less dramatic friends. Also, check Bob estrogen levels.

But Prey is good. It sure is worth buying but I hate Bethesda's practice of turning franchises into what they aren't so I'll stick with whatever ain't published by them unless it's something from beyond the stars. But it is really good.

Expeditions: Vikings? Always start with everyone equipped with shields. You have two weapon sets. It will help. If it's not about said game, I'll show myself out. I find shields to be the worst. Archers>dualwield daggers>dualwield axes>spears> shield&axe>shield&sword>>>fist>>>>>>>>>>slingshot.

I think you got it wrong, they are not thin skinned. It wasn't about the joke, it's about causing damage. The right is taking every move from the leftist handbook and subverting it, this is what the left has been getting away with for years and now you begin to complain. Besides, its not even the first time that someone tries to shut Colbert down, it just the first time that the right tries to.

I think I'm just going to keep a watch on E3 to see if there's a release date for Assassin's Creed Empires, or Origins, or whatever they changed the name to. At the very least I found it a nice touch that they cut off the finger of the character, although I don't know how effective he will be with a bow with a missing finger.

Strange, from my experience people that complain about diverse societies are either close-minded (general fear of anything different and lack actual historical context for how constant change and diversity is in human society) or have a degree of hatred towards others. Oh the irony. Oh the naivety. Oh the hubris. Oh the perpetuation of quote blocks. I wonder if there's a limit to the quote block, anyone care to help me test it?

Yep, now if you don't have medical insurance you have to pay a fine. Thanks Obama!

The plot thickens: http://thefederalist.com/2017/05/02/bill-nye-censor-transgender-ideology/ Every day we become more like the Soviet Union. Who's we and why is this on the funny thread?

I understood that reference. Also, I'm liking the game a lot more than Conquistador. I met Odin BTW.

I don't get the point of this thread, it just seems like its asking for trouble.

Pictures of your Games Episode IX - The Bigger Picture
Orogun01 replied to Rosbjerg's topic in Computer and Console
It's a terrible game, but the combat is addictive.I still have no clue what the story is even about considering dialogue & voice over are so cheesy I am forced to click through all of it quickly. Tbh, yes, it's very high-schoolish but that didn't stop me from loving it. I think the game revolves around comedy and weirdness for the most part so if you were expecting a serious Crpg like Baldurs Gate or PoE then yeah, you're going to be disappointed. I was happy to see it didn't take itself to seriously after playing other rpgs but that's just me. That's usually the thing that gets under my skin, it just hard to get any sense of involvement when your conversation options are limited in order to make space for a plethora of sophomoric humor. I rather that they'd let my character participate in the silliness instead of just being a silent spectator to it all. -
I wanted to get it on GOG, they dropped the ball on that one.
