  1. Hypothetical scenario: Mr. X is known to have very close ties to Organization O, whose members have been convicted for committing random acts of violence against innocent civilians in the past. State Security Organization S has intercepted information that an attack on a population center identified only by codename is imminent. As a precautionary measure, all members of Organization O have gone into hiding, save for Mr. X. Procedure P is proven to be a reliable method for extracting information from uncooperative subjects, but will subject the individual to considerable physical pain and mental stress. It will, however, leave no lasting scars. Question: would it be wrong for S to detain Mr. X and subject him to P in order to acquire the information necessary to prevent the attack? Aye or Nay? Is Mr. X a Muslim?
  2. Well what do you expect out of the KGB's successor, I think that most of the KGB's agents are there after it closed.
  3. Well the KGB is still pretty old, perhaps there are better ways to extract information nowadays that have made torture fall into disuse by first rate intelligence agencies. What has been said before is true; information acquired by torture is unreliable, specially from agents that are trained to give out false or minimal information when broken. Also the KGB had a reputation for being brutal (as everything in Russia does) so there is also a difference in methods used by the agencies.
  4. Thanks for giving me the heads up. England here I come!
  5. You must lead an enchanted life
  6. OWW, my childhood
  7. Damn right, caffine should be banned. So many people are addicted to this horrible substance. Totally, especially when you just want to go out and have a glass of juice with a friend. My jacket, and all my clothes stinked of coffee, yuck! Can't they just drink coffee at home instead? Is Starbucks technically coffee? If so, I welcome the ban.
  8. I used Samara as a leader for my first playthrough, worked out fine.
  9. So far the only guys that ever smoke on film are the bad guys, the image of beauty and manliness associated with smoking died out a long time ago (the 60's I guess). I really do not see smoking as deserving prohibition, while in fact they should take the ban out of some controlled substances that have no detrimental effects.
  10. What?! if you get drunk she gets better looking? I gotta try that on Jack.
  11. The first one is only effective if done by two or three people, the second suggestion is the most effective. Even though storm of the century is a gamble to do that way. The way that I find them most effective is to put them right on the edge of bottlenecks and have them clogged by paralysis spells and/or tanks. Edit. The same way with traps.
  12. Those last tier spells; specially the primal ones, are a waste of points. Aside from a few exceptions, they waste and exuberant amount of mana and do damage for the three seconds it takes enemies to run through them.
  13. Because is a few of the great American industries.
  14. Good to see that the world is still the same.
  15. That's probably because you chose to specialize as an elementalist (as I did on my 1st playthrough) most of the primal spell are high damage dealing over large areas. Which makes you a prime target for mobs.
  16. Looks like somebody remembered how it felt to play that game and what everybody wanted to do to the dog.
  17. There is no way to open them without a mod. There is one that adds what you mentioned, force open. I think it was over at the nexus site. BTW rogues are more useful in scouting with stealth, setting traps and (if you have the patience) becoming rangers.
  18. Sure but they're meant to be artillery - hard striking but fragile. With Improved Herbalism aka potion spam my mage can go toe to toe with more enemies than he should be able to handle. His longevity against melee enemies isn't significantly lower than Alistair or Sten even though I haven't invested a single point in his constitution. ... Constitution is only useful if you have a Blood mage build on mind, it's true that the mages are at par with warriors on surviving attacks; no doubt about it. My guess is that they did it to balance with the fact that they are the biggest damage dealers and therefore the only ones targeted by the AI. Fault on the designs.
  19. Fair points all of them, it bothered me too even though I took advantage of the combat flaws. They are meant to be overpowered, no point to be afraid of mages if they are no threat.
  20. This one was a little heavier than most, IMO it was unique in that I couldn't really compare it to any of their previous albums. It does bear their signature that says "Massive Attack" but I find it to be free of previous influences and an exploration of new sounds which they hadn't touched before. The only downside I could find is that while it was a good album overall none of the songs seem to stand out above the others.
  21. This confuses me. The first one is the original, it makes ammo infinite. The second one is the no infinite ammo variation, I still recommend you download the first one since it has the readme.
  22. Amen to that brother.
  23. For those of you tired of mining http://www.mediafire.com/?yjjzlzzzmyj No infinite ammo. http://www.mediafire.com/?j2gtmmeymqh
  24. And also on recent news living gives you cancer. So if you are afraid of getting cancer you know what you have to do. Rule of good health, all things in moderation even those that are good for your health. Trying to protect yourself from every smoke emission is like Monk trying to fight all of the world's bacteria.
  25. Is it really? I'm going to be annoyed if its mediocre. Please confirm. Is basically a duets album featuring other artist within the genre, which makes it musically diverse. Not reaching into the heavy electronic or trance beats it has more of a natural feel. I would recommend it a try if you are a fan of the genre, but a word of warning it is unlike any of their previous works having a sentiment like an experimental album.
