  1. Isn't that how every game begins?
  2. Don't the biotics damage shields?
  3. Mechanics are separate from content/tuning. DMC3:SE on "Japanese" standard difficulty is easy. DMC4 on human is also very easy. Bayonetta on very easy/automatic is a joke/basically just to watch cutscenes. Crank up the difficulty on them and they can all become very challenging. Also all of those games run at 60. Easy by the genre standards; whilst I agree with you that JE could have had slightly elevated combat mechanics is also very hard for me to picture an RPG/DMC hybrid (mouthwatering). I'm sure that some would argue that RPG side is lost on the combat mechanics making it an action game with high storytelling.
  4. If they had made the mechanics like that then you would see a lot of RPG purists saying that it was too hard. RPG= Strategy/Skill.
  5. BTW, anyone else feels like socking Shepard on the noggin for not figuring out that the dying suns all over the galaxy is the Reapers opening rifts to dark space?
  6. It's only one of their worst because die hard BW's fans ignore Sonic completely and that leave us with a slight shorter number of masterpieces to choose from.
  7. Agreed, it's not much of an upgrade over driving the Mako around. I guess it takes less time overall. Anyone else feel guilty about depleting planets? I just wanted to know if there was the possibility of getting a random encounter or something, or will it all be resource collection? No random encounter, I just focus on the resources i'm missing and stop once the planet is at good or moderate.
  8. "Weird, because Miranda mentioned she was a perfect choice to lead the first team. Also, that " True, it's like assault of the body snatchers starring
  9. It was a great concept; marrying wuxia epics with RPG, wish there more games like that. Still JE left a lot to be desire (like a sequel ) combat was simple enough that it fell within the RPG's low skill requirements, so that it would be easier to grasp. The highest point was the allure of the eastern culture, the philosophies, the brawling, and the corruption. It was like seeing all my favorite B-rated kung-fu films come together on a game. "GDM: I thought Bio didn't make any sequels except for ME2?" BG2 begs to differ.
  10. This mistake is unforgivable, whip the loremaster!
  11. Luckily for me I replayed ME to death; every class, every option, sometimes twice and kept most of the saves. Too bad that the scars don't transfer, I had a bitching slash on my face on ME.
  12. While not mainstream, it is still considerably big and anyone here can think of at least five PC exclusive games that sold well. Plus for people that don't own an Xbox or the PS3 or have one and not the other, the PC is a third alternative for exclusive games. Companies should reward their loyal customers, instead of going after a problem with no viable solution at the expense of possibly alienating them.
  13. And the ability to end phone calls with: "I'm watching you".
  14. Renegade options the most fun so far, nothing like headbutting a krogan to shut him up.
  15. Is there are an animals with top hats still free that I could claim?
  16. By other platforms I meant the various consoles. When console games start doing the same you can either put up with it or not. Ranting on the internet about it is not going to change that. It will make you feel better. The Internet is everyone's hole on the ground to scream the things nobody wants to hear about.
  17. True, but if it shows any sing of being effective it may become popular and then: GAMING DYSTOPIA
  18. It was obvious (to me at least) that DLC would be path chosen to encourage buying, as is obvious now that some publishers are going to go to extremes to protect and ensure the success of their product. The question here is, does this actually hurt their market? Myself, I will think twice before purchasing a game that requires me to send personal information. I hope that they limit their actions to just this, otherwise it may come to a point where is detrimental to themselves.
  19. It's the minimum to complete.
  20. It can't be so bad, I mean if Krogan males have three testicles maybe the women have three something (Total Recall)
  21. Speaking of which, does anyone knows if they finally show Turian or Krogan women? I get it that they are both patriarchal societies, but two 20 hours average games and not a single woman!
  22. Well they are disappointing but not exactly a substantial reason to complain. But the fact that a whole game is boiled down to sex scenes is.
  23. I'm throughly disappointed with these love scenes, whatever happened to Mass Effect: Sex simulator?
