Just put some lube in it an you'll find it fitting, coincidentally that's very close to the new BW romance option. First they wanted to be dragons now they want to romance Dragons, Day 1 exclusive Dragon companion DLC.

I think so. i don't really understand how radiant works. Anyone care to explain? I know I could look it up, but I want an intelligent answer, not some random cyber-yokel. It's a pseudo random quest generator.

That was beautiful.

This mod may be for you: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/38009/? Also, the Skyrim Redone mod (SkyRe) adds that ability.

Plus random werewolves attacks, Vampire Lord transformation and two perk trees.

But we are not only arguing romance or relationships but the whole spectrum of dynamics that might exist between the player and NPC.

You know, when I read Robin Atkins Downes I thought "Finally! A game that let's you play as Mr. Bean" But Google had to ruin that fantasy for me.

Let's us entertain for a moment the notion that he is Jesus Christ. Jesus is now an Australian, this must be one of the signs of the Apocalypse.

Heretic! BURN THE HERETIC!! I think you mean to say: "Ramirez! Burn that Heretic!"

Wals I think what you talk about it has already been used in games and not just with NPCs but with the environment as well. They serve as a frame of reference to present a character to the player and to develop that character's background without lengthy expositions. For example in KOTOR you're told a lot about Revan through NPCs which provided him with a background, gave insight into his motives and established him all without having him meet the protagonist (although, I'm not sure how he could do that...but it's the Force or whatever)

Up next What ever happened to Krezak? Seems to be the kind of thing he would have loved Up next Marijuana cures cancer and ED. They are seriously making it sound like it's a wonder drug even when the evidence its indiscernible. Although marijuana helping stay thin may be why Shaggy was so skinny even though he ate like a horse.

I need you to clarify, do you mean that the NPCs have interdynamics that only relate to each other but not the player? Or that their response be based on choices made by the player?
-
Dang, you almost made me jealous but then you said soup.

What are the consequences? What will she regret? What is the full cost? Well, since you seem so curious why don't you try it and tell us the result?

If that works, I'm going to go play New Vegas again, for the heat. ...almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter. I genuinely believe that the mind can achieve a great deal. Make you feel full, warm, happy. Or the reverse. One trick I've been trying today is just breathing more deeply. Exploit natural circulation. Are you having a manic period? If so, do come off it gently.

To an extent it is on the other hand it is a story just not one that has been written by the developers or coded into the game. The concept of emergence is that it is built upon something, in this case the game. Ludonarrative dissonance often is the result of developers ignoring how players are going to use the mechanics or from the fact that developers built a story that runs contrary to the mechanics of the game. For example: Prototype, a game where you play as a murderer and yet you are still cast as the good guy. In the end just like when we see a film or read a book the fact that we often make assumptions about the characters and the situation doesn't necessarily detracts from the narrative. Nor should the fact that the assumptions are born from the mechanics of a game make it any less so.

I like the one where I play the game and it doesn't try to shove an emotional reaction down my throat but rather lets one emerge from the story and the mechanics working together. I've been trying to work out how that might function. Not sure. I'm mean obviously I've seen it happen, but what do you think leads to that emergent reaction? Google Dwarf Fortress Boatmurdered PDF to get a look at what the opposite would be. Its a sizable telling of a game of succession in Dwarf Fortress where all events rise from the game mechanics. Or you could just recall the old IE games where your choice of companions plus your actions largely influenced how the story proceeded.

Me:"At which point your honor I had to kill him to save gas"

The Nexus Mod Manager is something similar, albeit with a lot more freedom.

I do think most psychics are frauds, but that doesn't preclude the possibility of true psychic phenomena. One just has to consider the facts objectively and not jump to conclusions. The problem I have with scientists that readily dismiss psychic phenomena is that apparently they want it to happen ex nihilo, without any form of input.

You missed nothing.

To be fair I wandered with just Imoen as soon as I got out of CandleKeep. I still hate rolls as a video game mechanic.

Went up and fired up my old copy of BG just to try to shake off the nostalgia goggles. After I got out of town and got killed by a dire wolf with whom I had an incredible series of misses I remembered why i'm through with roll based rpgs; they ****ing suck.

I watch the show but that's about it, I heard the game is kind of meh bordering on bad.
