I bought it, played it and gave up after maybe 3 hours. I loved Eye of the Beholder and Dungeon Master back in the day, but I feel computer games have evolved in a direction that I really appreciate and I see no need to go back to that type of game. It just didn't grip me at all anymore.

Well.. when I did my duty in the Swedish army, there was a section about the Spetsnaz in one of the information books we studied. "If you capture a Spetsnaz, keep a 10 meter safety radius around him" or something like that. And even if I find it unnecessary with the mocking pics in this thread, that pic with the sights mounted on backwards is a bit funny.

Borderlands 2 is a strange beast. I was playing it, dying a lot and not having much fun. All my weapons felt like peashooters. Then I found this: The second orange item I have found in over 80 levels. Not only does it do a ridiculous amount of damage, the damage splashes also. Oh, and it fires 5-7 shots in a horizontal arc every time you press the trigger, each one of those shots doing a lot of damage plus splash damage.. Suddenly the game is fun again.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein is one of my favourite FPS's of all time. I would not be disappointed if this teaser waa in fact a new Wolf. It looked incredible back then, and I must say it has aged with dignity: Hard to believe this game was released in 2001!

They have a parent company that's doing quite well, sure they can turn a profit from their games, but do we know that the expansion is funded by that? That's a rhetorical question right? Wages are way lower than North America, Western and Northern Europe. Of course there's a lot of talent from Eastern Europe that goes to Western Europe and North America. Believe me, you would be surprised how much is good programmer worth in East Europe, and how big they paychecks are Oh, I was surprised alright. We hired some from Poland for one fifth of what they would cost in Sweden.

I had to buy the Screamer games. We used to have sooo much fun with them at school. I never owned them myself though. I also realize they have aged very badly (you were practically driving in tunnels, the cars could not be damaged, so you bounced from wall to wall instead of slowing down in the curves) but.. nostalgia. We played them on a computer with a 3DFx card. I wonder how they look without? They looked great back then. Very colourful.
