  1. Hydrogen, if you want to see an example of a really obnoxious signature, check out "Servant of Eru" (or something like that)... He needs to write something equivalent to a bible everytime he posts.
  2. Use this as a guideline: everytime you post something and your signature is larger than your post, then your sig is too big and obnoxious for other readers.
  3. Well, considering the map sizes in KotOR were so small (and KotOR 2 using the same engine), having vehicles would make no sense. I mean, you would start up the engine on one side of the map, press the acceleration key for two seconds before hitting the other side of the map.
  4. Uhm.. The romances in Planescape: Torment must really have been subtle, because I missed them all. Never even noticed them. Of course, this comes from a guy who's only enjoyed one "romantic scene" ever in a videogame: going to a harlot in Gothic 2 and getting a full motion video of what happened during the night
  5. I can never keep my focus on just one way. Some quests/paths looked like more fun for the dark side and some looked better doing in the light side version. Guess I thread the path.. OF THE MIGHTY GREY SIDY! (or JETH perhaps)
  6. Will there be nudity? I've never seen a Twi'lek naked..
  7. Ok, the Dungeon Lords E3 trailer is out and available. And it looks awesome! What can I say other than MULTI PLAYER CO-OP.. This game is really growing on me. Bring it on, D.W. Bradley!
  8. I want the avatars smaller. Max 10x10! Did I mention I surf this board using my heavily modified Gameboy Advance?
  9. Uhm.. my avatar was 1200x1200 originally.. I had to shrink it a little (It's the entire world map of the game Wasteland..)
  10. Well, I could buy him a wagon and pull him around...
  11. I'd like a Hutt in my party. Perhaps a little one so it doesn't drool all over the Ebon Hawk.
  12. I think the limitations of the Aurora engine is what could make this game go horribly wrong. I want a real 3D-engine for crying out loud!
  13. And I still won't be able to play a Hutt. Sigh.
  14. Some new Dungeon Lords screenshots have popped up over at Gamer's Hell, if anyone's interested. Apparently they're going to show the game at E3, so in a few days we're sure to get more info about the game. The new screenshots look really good too.
  15. Uhm.. the thing has over 1000 posts and is member 300 something.. YES IT IS SPAMMING. It doesn't bother me though. I kind of liked the mini games. They felt undeveloped though. The swoop races could have been so good if only we had been able to configure and upgrade our swoop racers ourselves. And maybe add twists and turns to the race tracks. I didn't really like Pazaak, but at least it was a very easy way of earning money. The only mini game I didn't like was the turret thingie. It was easy, unecessary and took a lot of time away from the real game.
  16. It will be funny to see just how wrong you were when the game is finally released. Although by that time you're going to say "I believed in the game all along, from day one!". As usual.
  17. I really tried to vote for KotOR2, but my hand mysteriously slipped to Half-Life 2.. Sorry!
  18. I voted for Good, since I don't want to put too much pressure on Obsidian (Although I am sure these talented guys can put together something more than Good)
  19. I wish Obsidian would take the time and add more planets, even hidden planets perhaps. In KotOR all the planets that were availible to you, you were forced to visit if you wanted to complete the story. That made it seem like the planets were just "levels" in a linear game. If you have 12 planets to visit and only 6 of them are essential to the story, you get a lot more freedom to just fly around, explore, solve side quests and gather equipment. I usually get the most satisfaction from a game when my thorough exploring pays off and I find that hidden piece of armour or, as in the case of Gothic, that hollow stone in the river! (How many of you can honestly say you found that by yourself?)
  20. Think we can convince them to start up development on Planescape:Torment 2 if we whine enough about it? Actually, I don't even want a Ps:T sequel myself.. I want a new Wasteland! Am I in the wrong forum, perhaps?
  21. I read through the entire thread and I saw this question being asked several times, but since I didn't find an answer to it (excuse me if I just missed it), here it comes again: Will the maps (levels, planets, worlds) be bigger this time around? That was the one huge flaw (for me) in KotOR; it was absolutely impossible to get lost anywhere in the entire game. It was so small, everywhere! I have no idea how the engine works, but I sure do wish they had licensed the Crytek engine instead.. (Far Cry had huge rendering distances and massive maps). Ps. Btw, THANK YOU, Akari, for taking the time to answer our questions! It means alot.
  22. Geez, what a surprise! Who would've guessed? I am shocked! Amazed! Stunned!
  23. Considering KotOR 2 is Obsidian's first game, I'm sure they won't have much artistic control over it. Bioware/LucasArts probably gave them pretty strict guidelines to follow, but for once I don't really care. Let them (obsidian) finish this game, get a great reputation, lots of sold units, plenty of riches and then watch them create the game of our dreams! It seems they already have a second project brewing in the depths of their office..
  24. Strange. I read the swedish edition of PC Gamer today and that creepy picture was on the front of that magazine. Inside it had a lot of stuff about KotOR 2 (complete with a lot of pictures, which, surprisingly enough, looked quite weak) and even some quotes from Feargus Urquhart (!) and Obsidian/Bioware/LucasArts. It was an interesting read.. They even wrote about the main story and according to them, you start out as a jedi and your main mission is to gather and unite all the remaining (but very scattered) jedi all over the galaxy. Sounds neat, if it is true.
  25. Gothic 2 didn't have any romances, but it did have a functioning brothel. That's really all I need.
