  1. She (or whatever it is) looks like a cross between David Bowie and Michael Jackson, and that's not a pretty sight.
  2. Wow.. Strangely enough this is one of the new features I'm looking forward to the most, even though I didn't find the actual races to be that interesting. All you had to do was hit those boost pads on the ground and you won every single race. Now, if they could do the racing as good a mini game as they did in Mafia (it was awesome!), then we'd be talking! Unfortunately they're constrained by that Odyssey engine. Oh well, next time perhaps.
  3. I would probably not have played KotOR unless it had been sent to me for free. A demo goes a long way of telling me if I want the full game or not.
  4. Haha, I thought it was damn funny! Loved those high pitched shrieks of frustration he let out. But yeah, the ending was a bit.. strong. Side note: Loved the music in that little movie, and one of the bands used (Refused) are from the town where I studied at the university, and I actually know (well, sort of) some of the band members.
  5. Sure, I'll try again. How about I quote the same post as you, but without your editorial cutting and pasting? I can understand that this one slipped right above your head, since you actually have to think about what I write here. See that last line? He was completely wrong about me in his previous post, which implies I am wrong about him in this post. I used a common prejudice about americans to insult the previous poster and then negated it (meaning I didn't believe that was the case) with that last line. I'm sure you won't understand it this time either. You keep on editing to your hearts desire, hate monger. Strange how you managed to miss this quote from the same post? Isn't it funny how you claim www.FAIR.org is editorial, yet you cut and paste and add your own opinions to my posts without hesitation? Actually, it isn't funny, it is pathetic. Still a liar and a hypocrite. On topic: Could someone a little less right wing write a short review or just an opinion about the movie? It doesn't open in Sweden until august 27:th and I'm really curious about how it stands up as a movie. I know Michael Moore is an Oscar-winning documentarist and that Fahrenheit 9/11 was the winner of "Best Picture" at the Cannes 2004 Film Festival, but I'm still curious what the average Joe thinks about it.. (and if you can, please keep the "Moore is a liar" opinions to yourself, I am only interested in the movie itself)
  6. Portugal - Greece in the finals. Who would have thought that?
  7. Just a small update with some new Xbox screenshots. http://www.gamespot.com/xbox/rpg/dungeonlo...creenindex.html
  8. I must have bought the wrong version of Planescape: Torment because that game is on 4 CD's too and everytime I change map I have to juggle discs like crazy. Or so it feels like
  9. I'm apologizing beforehand if this picture insults anyone, but I thought it was funny (and Bush is actually kind of cute..)
  10. Maybe we should talk about my hairy ass instead? Anyhow, I think Bastila was meant to be a charming young woman that would satisfy the general male population and their needs. Unfortunately she wasn't very well written and actually turned out as a bunch of clich
  11. I read somewhere that GTA: San Andreas will come on 2 DVD's.. Soon we'll be needing bigger storage units than DVD and here people are arguing that KotOR2 should come on CD's.. Four CD's was way too much. One DVD can contain data worth 6-7 CD's. DVD's are faster. Everyone has a DVD-player (at least where I come from) so what's the big deal? Let the people who enjoy juggling 6 CD's (or whatever KotOR2 will require) do so, just make sure you release it on DVD as well, ok?
  12. You ARE a liar, that's a fact. I've repeatedly stated that I don't dislike americans or America as a nation, but I have serious doubts about the american school system and I hate american foreign politics/policies. Coincidentally you never found those quotes. Weird. You, however, claim I often called all american dumb. That is a lie. In fact I've never done that. Simply because I don't believe it is the case. Do I think you're dumb? Yes. Do I think you're uneducated and ignorant? Yes. Does that rub off on the entire american population? No. You're obviously so full of yourself that whenever I say something about you, you somehow think it is directed at the entire american population. And do you honestly think it matters if you, yourself, claim you're not a Bush fanboi? Unfortunately, those aren't decisions you make for yourself. If all we see is you defending Bush with denials and lies all day, and you still say you're not a fanboi, what are we to believe? It's like hearing Hitler saying he actually loves jews. Actions speak louder than words. Ps. You include random personal attacks I've written? Do you remember that entire webpage you made and dedicated to me as a personal attack? Can you spell hypocrite?
  13. Do you guys actually get turned on by the pixellated women in the games you play? Is that why threads like these continue to pop up? You guys should really play Gothic then. There were only three women in the entire game, but those women were scrubbing floors/serving men wearing nothing but a thong and a bikini top.
  14. I'd like a small Hutt as a companion. I don't care what gender it is, but if they could write some witty, funny dialogue that accompanies the events in the game it would be neat. Of course, the Hutt would have some side-quests of his own and an interesting back story that would unfold throughout the game. The Hutt should also be critical in some way to the main story and how it evolves. Either that or let me play as a Hutt myself.
  15. Here you rip the American education system and assume that Americans don't know anything about history. Sorry, it doesn't matter how many times you post the same drivel. It's not going to change and somehow make you right. But as an example, I cut out one of my quotes together with one of your remarks. Here everyone can see what a flawed system of reasoning you use. Where in my quote did I ever mention the entire american population? It is obvious you interpreted it as such. I did not rip the american school system. I didn't rip americans in general for not knowing their history. I was ripping one individual (wasn't it you?). You can continue with your editorial remarks on the out-of-context quotes you've provided. I am not saying the quotes aren't mine, because they are, but the only "proof" you bring is your own interpretations (where you constantly call all americans dumb). So I still call you a liar. And stop putting words in people's mouths.
  16. Rant.. Rant. Rant! RANT!!
  17. You could not find one single time where i wrote "dumb Americans"? That's what I thought. I didn't ask for your interpretation of the posts I've made. It's really easy to clip something out of context and claim it means something other than what it does. But you failed to find even one quote of "dumb Americans" made by me, despite you saying I often said that. You didn't have much credibility to start with but to me this clearly proves you as a liar who tries to put words in people's mouths. Guess hypocrite is right up there too.
  18. Nope, I totally agree. That's why I'm more concerned with getting suggestions into the type of game we'd like to see for their next project. Yeah, that could really be an interesting discussion. But unfortunately Obsidian has been everything but talkative about anything concerning their projects. If they participated in the discussion about their next project and actually let people know what it is then this board would be a blast. Unfortunately there's not much to give suggestions on yet, and it feels unnecessary to try to suggest anything before we even know if it's medieval, post apoc or high school.
  19. Yeah, they released a Baldur's Gate-clone a while back. It was called Gorasul, was quite buggy, but not at all shabby. Considering it was their first attempt at a RPG it wasn't bad at all. I am sure that with the right IP they could do much better. It's tough coming up with a new setting that works.
  20. Just how often have I insulted all "dumb Americans"? Those are quotation marks, you know. You claim I've often written that quote. Let's put your credibility to a test then. I have 500+ posts. Often would imply what? Every tenth post? Every twentieth? Let's say every 100:th. Find five posts where I've used that quote or you're a liar who puts words in people's mouths. I don't remember writing that even once. Now we'll see how objective you are. Or perhaps it is your ignorance and hatred that shines through?
  21. Ok, I had heard of Darth Vader. Do I win a prize?
  22. Nice post, Ivan. It even has sources. But unfortunately EnderWiggin never even looks at sources and dismisses them as "liberal propaganda". Then he tries to shove his (unsourced) opinions down your throat anyhow. Not a very giving discussion.
  23. The only game I've felt a need for a mount in was Gothic/Gothic 2. You had a huge world, lots of space between the different camps, and no alternatives when it came to traversing those distances. Gothic/Gothic 2 involves a lot of running. The most disappointing mounts I've ever seen were in Morrowind. You had these huge, long-legged beasts standing outside every town looking neat and offering you a ride for almost no money at all. The first time I saw the I was like "NEAT!! Let's go riding!" because I thought you'd actually sit on top of those strange creatures while the world around you just zoomes past. Instead you're rewarded with a loading pause everytime you try to ride those creatures and end up in the destination without even a small movie or anything. Just like teleportation. BAH! KotOR doesn't need mounts because the levels are so small. But mounts is a great idea in games where you actually have some space to move within. I'm hoping Obsidian's next project will have a huge world and several upgradable mounts (actually cars).
  24. Am I the only one who feels suggestions like these are all fine, but that it's hopeless seeing how far into the development cycle the game already is?
  25. Oh, I fully realize that. But it's impossible to play football if you're using chess rules, so to speak. There's no point sticking to any rules if your "opponent" does not. I try to think of it as adaptation..
