Did you guys know that brenneke is a kind of ammunition you can load your shotgun with, that turns the shotgun into a cannon? Instead of the ordinary ammunition for shotguns (that contain lots of tiny lead bullets), the brenneke ammunition contain only one huge slug of lead. (A cannon is defined by its calibre, but I forgot the exact limit for when a gun becomes a cannon. I'd think a 10 Gauge shotgun would be nearing if not passing that limit.)

Now now, I am sure the excellent artists of Obsidian can make 2D crates almost as pretty as 3D ones. Don't give up! Don't step into the light!!

Thought I'd revive this old thread to see if any of the new Obsidian recruits would care to share their favourites with us.. To all the Obsidian-Brian's out there: name your game!

I do like the fact that we're going to get a game made by Obsidian. I'm excited to see the final result by this obviously talented group of people. Still, it's their first attempt under this new constellation. I don't like the fact that they've kept the engine from the first game. It seems to be too restricting in terms of world size among other things. Naturally I voted for.. uh.. the middle option.

Actually, I think Newsweek (an international magazine about politics, based in the USA) is about to rank the nations in a list of their own.. If my sources are correct the US citizens of this board might be pleasantly surprised by that list if they didn't like the first one (by the UN). Newsweek are supposed to be basing their ranking on (among other factors) average income, health, democracy, economics, environment and honesty (as in little corruption). I'll try to find the Newsweek list as soon as I can. It might be published tomorrow..

Once Were Warriors was a movie that took me completely by surprise. I went to see it in a small, alternative movie theater and I hadn't heard of it beforehand. One of the most powerful movies I've ever seen.

I didn't come in eighth place. I live in Vermont. We were ranked as the second best state in the US to raise a family in, and I would pit this state against your insignificant longboat factory of a country any day. I don't need to establish my state or even my country as better than anyone else's. So you can go ahead and brag all you want. The Dragon Tooth sword in Deus Ex worked as a lightsource when you had it wielded. It was incredibly practical as I used it to break open crates and boxes. For some reason most crates and boxes were stuffed in dark corners and the sword really helped me see what fell out of them. Great idea!
