I've been playing loads of Amstrad CPC 464 games (Fantasy World Dizzy FTW) via emulators, and a bit of time on the DS, keeping it casual for the moment, my brain can't handle full blown games right now.

I'm glad to hear about the new patch, it's nice to get continued support for something you paid good money for, now I've just got to find the energy to actually complete the damn thing.

Having recently replayed (and still kind of playing) Fallout 3 I can definitely say NV's writing is far more sensible, you could argue it lacks drama but if you're into piecing together how people fit into a world it's all very well done, I haven't tried any of the DLC yet though, they've ramped up the excitement a bit from what I hear.

I dunno, riots didn't have much trouble spreading without social media in past years, personally I can't stand Facebook and Twitter but I'd hesitate to give any government new powers over a method of communication. To be honest there's a thousand different ways people can organise a riot nowadays, blocking certain services won't be enough, they'll have to go straight to the root, which is something they've been aiming at for a while, governments tend to take miles when first given an inch.
