Looks a bit like the best thing that could happen at Washington would be for RG3 to sit a few out and give Cousins a chance to play. Might not help the skins, tbh, but might help Cousins at least, who based on his few flashes last year would certainly beat the snot out of Gabbert, at the very least. As a more traditional QB, he might be a better long term solution than some of the gimmicky new guys from the spotlight of last year.

I must've gone to the Finnish version of your school. I had to hit thirty before I understood that sometimes in the long term its better to stay home than go to work.

Adobe compromised completely by hackers?

I feel sorry for you. ;P -
Bit late for that, is'nt it? :D I've never heard of such a thing, you just called in sick or something? Pretty name for calling in sick with an acute case of lack of motivation. Seems to have helped quite a bit.

Yeah, at least he's going into a situation that isn't a COMPLETE disaster, and has Purple Jesus to work with.Indeed, Freeman might have passed the Browns

I didn't realise that. So that's what desperate looks like.

Yeah, happily marxist ideology never spawned terror. If you read Marx, you'll know all the communist dictators broke the number one rule. You're not supposed to skip Capitalism to get to Socialism. So, when people misunderstood Marx, he should be forgiven, but when the same thing happens to prophet Mohammed, he shouldn't? JA JA SICK BUR-no. There's little way to misinterpret "They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks." (4:86) While something like "Social progress can be measured by the social position of the female sex." -Marx- Only **** misinterpret that."Muhammed should be for..."You do realize that he married a six year old girl right? Are you guys gonna hamster this so much just because you don't want to seem as "racists"? Thanks for the textbook strawman, I'll save this for later reference.

No(t yet). Again, as it becomes less and less likely that I'll be here at this time next year, I understand their thinking in wanting to essentially bribe the other guy to maintain continuity. I just wish they'd do it with less urinating in my cereals, to paraphrase a Finnish saying. But yeah, actually the guy who's the target of the propelling had taken it up with them, and the current junior partner (who's going to own the majority share from January 1st) hadn't heard about it either. This is actually still a massive step forward over my last place of employment. The real tragedy with lawyers is that generally the ones who wind up in leadership positions are there because of their personal success in, well, lawyering. Having any sort of rudimentary management training, never mind measured capacity for it, never comes up. In fact, my minor in management and leadership studies has probably been a hindrance to me so far, since people seem to assume that it would make someone ****y (to me, it was mostly humbling, starting to understand the complexities of group psychology at workplace etc.). p.s. I'm still happier working here than wherever you are, Monte

Turns out this hadn't been widely discussed, came as a surprise to most people involved and was generally viewed as being in poor taste by them. Hmpf, office politics. And having a damn long back.

Late, but... what? I've been listening to music while browsing/writing on my ipad since purchase. Nobody told me it was impossible! (ie. not entirely up to date on the ios updates, are we!) That said, if you need something to do spreadsheets and word processing on, probably better alternatives. Mine servers as a sanity maintenance tool between the required periods of productivity.

Well, well. Seahawks seem to be quite dependent on their home crowd. Going to be interesting to see, if somebody can crack that later on. I'm starting to think that there's something in the saints playbook that makes it look like their opponents are playing badly, since it's now five times in a row. Crowd at soldier field seemed really quiet during the first half. I'm gonna be watching the Kansas City game when I get home from work - something I couldn't have imagined I'd ever say even a few weeks ago.

So, when I started here I replaced a guy who was fired for incompetence. Meaning, I got about 50 cases that had been more or less ****ed up by him, his old computer, his old phone, hid old office etc. 2 months after me we had a new guy (older than me, but a recent law school graduate) get hired, who, since he was an "expansion" got everything new. Including cases. I grinned and took it if not like a man then at least not like a whiny bitch because I could see the logic in it, even if I'm even at the moment hunched over a desk originally designed for a 5' girl (who, I'd like to clarify, wasn't the idiot fired before me). Our managing partner's going into semiretirement in the end of the year, so I was just told that they're reshuffling the offices. Former junior partner takes of the managing partner's office, new guy gets former junior partner's office and boss takes of the new guy's smaller office. Again, a perfectly rational reason that results in the minimum amount of moving people around but also gives new guy a superb office with all the bells and whistles. The worst part is that I can't really say anything because all of these things alone are fairly minor, but having worked contracts before I've become fairly saturated with being treated as a liquid asset. Now it looks like they're courting this guy to become a partner down the road while they expect me to bugger off to a bigger city at the first opportunity. Which has, with the treatment, become a self-fulfilling prophecy. *grumble*

Somalia and the pirates are an annoyance to everybody. A multi-billion dollar, environmentally serious (due to extra emissions on transport) hazard. That's what I just said.

While they don't say it out loud, looks like this is a list of rpgs you can play without an emulator like dosbox. I really need to run the whole krynn series, i've never played champions or death knights.

If Obsidian kickstarts a space opera RPG, would you back it?
Nepenthe replied to Arcoss's topic in Computer and Console
IIRC, the only new IP they've created is Alpha Protocol, which suffered more from an unfocused direction from Sega than anything from Obsidian. And who cares if the setting has been done to death if it results in a good game? That's ALL the gaming hiosters care about. -
Not super-interesting, but every team in San Diego's division will be on one local channel here ... an AFC West triple-header with Chiefs/Titans early, then Dallas/Denver, and finally Chargers/Raiders as late as I've ever seen a football game, 8:30pm. Tomorrow could be the day to achieve unprecedented inactivity. I dunno, in the context of this season there's a lot of fairly even games coming, at least. The sort of games where I'd expect to really get an idea of the performance for the season.

Btw. a lot of interesting matchups this week.

I'm lovin' it.
