That's what people keep telling me, but I found using the ufo when solo and a tricked out infuego or blade when with homies a lot more convenient, in general. Ufo's definitely faster, too.

Took my new backpack for a spin with a co-worker's family. Great fun, but no amount of airing seems to get rid of the campfire smoke smell. Oh well...

Yeah, I remember the first time I saw Lauren Cohan (on Chuck). I had to perform one of those "eyeball reinsertion" things afterwards.- 526 replies

Well, finished the main storyline today, it was quite entertaining in the "I doubt I'm going to replay this" sort of way. Agree with Raithe, too many of the side quests are just running back and forth. Happily, I had the chrome ufo from one of the earliest ones, so moving around the map was quite fast.

Yes, if I get home late in the evening after a day trip to some lake, or something.

Highland park 18yo. Generally prefer unpeated, but they got it just right with this one.

I hate the contrived forced failure aspects of the me3 ending, especially since leviathan etc. convinced me "destroy" is the only real alternative. I won't repeat my other issues with the game, but let's just say it's probably the only one ever that has upset me in any way. And it made up for quite a few other non-disappointments.

Wait until you get a bit older and become a provider prospect for a single mom about to hit thirty. They cling like a tick at 0 dates. I'm glad I'm in "witness protection" so at least they can't find out where I live. I can second that and there are plenty of really hot single moms who are looking for security. You obviously need to accept the fact they have kids but that's not an issue for me. I generally get on really well with kids Yeah, I just regained my freedom from indentured grad studentness, kids are a big no no to me right now.

Am getting disturbing amounts of contentment from crapping into pretentious facebook status reports from doctoral students (ie. former colleagues) who think they are a lot smarter than they are. There might be a pattern I'm refusing to notice.

Since EA and Bioware are basically one and the same, I tend to go with the incompetence explanation. They made a bad game, hopefully they learned from it. If bad means a game that is still better than 85 % of other games, then, yes.

Pretty sure only damage done with the ball counts, so you need to carry it.

He's probably tired of the "it was all brilliant and then EA came and DESTROYED EVERYTHING" attitude. He's not the only one That was implied in my post, as well

Ouch. Condolences on that. It's always awkward talking with ex's especially with emotions running high. It's when you get the rather odd "yes, I do still love you, but I'm married now and I love my husband as well." That one gets really weird. The "I made the wrong decision, but remaining together is the best for my son" is the worst of 'em, trust me. Colleagues are telling me I should go check out the college chicks here (place has ~polytechnic, no real university, but nursing and business admin schools...), currently being too low energy to do something about it, so I'll have to start working at getting my energy levels back up first.

He's probably tired of the "it was all brilliant and then EA came and DESTROYED EVERYTHING" attitude. As he obviously knows better where decisions have come from and what has been the pressure of lack of it placed on the studio.

In my experience, they leave the mosquitos alone and scare the bejesus out of my mom by hanging in the closet at our country place.

I haven't asked her yet. I'm going to do it while we're away. I'm hoping for moonlit Hawaiian beach or something memorably cheesy like that. Trial lawyer advice: Never ask a question if you don't know what the answer is.

Its interesting actually, she is obviously feeling guilty about what she did and this is some sort of attempt to reach out to you. I agree, and after a prolonged silence going with a banal approach is imo normal and understandable. I would take the offered olive branch, but I'm obviously very tight with my parents, being an only child and also participating in their business venture as a legal and technical adviser.

There's also no proof that either of those decisions was objectively bad.

I don't know anyone that's suffered from depression get any help to get out of it. They get drugged up and left to their own devices, wich has cost me a couple of good friends. Makes me extremely unwilling to seek aid for my own problems aswell, and it definetly does'nt help that my mother used to work in a ward. She quit when she saw how things were heading, were people that really needed help and surveillance were to be sent "home" and nurses to ride around and check up on patients for one hour and then piss off to the next. That's my take on it, as well. Any diagnosis of depression in my case would thus be self-administered, but for years I felt a seductive call whenever a train or other high kinetic energy object passed me. It left me around a year ago, and I've emerged stronger than before from it. I'd like to think that I'm even stronger because I dealt with it by myself, but I hope that people in general would be able to get help for those issues. Got the first of a bunch of hepatitis AB vaccinations, which one should have in this profession but everybody forgot to tell me about. Second day of absolute mental exhaustion at work, trying to hammer some **** together during my final hour before leaving.
