I got BG2 quite a bit later (Day1 of the mac version being out, though) and unfortunately I'd been unable to avoid spoilers, so... He didn't carry much shock value. Still, I think every BG2 character I've ever played has an archival save from right before that fight.

Agreed. This was definitely not Romo's fault. The Cowboys defense is historically bad. Heh, there was a case here a few years back where a guy got clocked speeding at about 110mph through the empty roads around the dockyards in the wee small hours of the night. He was getting slapped with speeding and assorted "dangerous driving" charges that he contested.He went into court and highlighted that his career actually involved precision driving, stunt driving, and racing automobiles of various sorts, and as such he actually had the skills to control a car at those speeds with minimal difficulty. His defence then included a study of the roads around the docks in that 2am-4am time zone and the barely existing traffic there at those times. He actually got all the "dangerous driving" charges dropped, but he did get stuck with the basic "speeding". "We'll let you off with a warning this time, mr. Walker"

That's not going to work. If you contest the ticket, you sometimes get out of it just by showing up to court, since the officer won't show unless it is serious. This is one of those things where I just can't believe how different two systems can be. Contesting a ticket around here is probably the dumbest thing you can do, since it invariably means a full investigation by the police, a day in court where the nice officer will show up in full uniform and polish to say that "yes, the system was calibrated - see the certificate attached - and no, if there had been in doubt, he wouldn't have given you the ticket over the red ferrari you swear just passed you"... Winds up costing more every time, forces you to deal with a grumpy judge and prosecutor who think you're just wasting their time etc. I won't take any traffic cases that don't deal with a suspended license that's necessary for work...

I'd like to point out that my current issues are due to myself attempting precisely that. Apart from the better paid...

Had a mini burn out today. Had it with the ****ing snakes on this ****ing plane. Or getting threatened by street dealers and all that sort of crap. Probably gonna tell my bosses that I need to get back to Helsinki to friends, family and da laydees and that I'd rather do it with them knowing than behind their backs.

I had that same at lunch, so I missed the partee I was supposed to go to in the evening. Now on my way back to the ****ing boondocks for the next two weeks, fml.

I know, as I am one. That's called Dolby Surround, you either turn off in-game 3D sound or buy a proper sound system... See, I was about to comment that I've had no issues, and I have a multichannel setup (which actually gives me a lot of problems with other games).
