That is the video I was talking about. Combat is way to actiony, also how exatly would the tactical view work in that dragon fight? Probably better than that view did, I had no idea what was going on there.

European Parliamentary Elections results, major concern?
Nepenthe replied to BruceVC's topic in Way Off-Topic
It has some actual role in the legislative process these days, so it's no longer just that. -
This is that stuff I don't like Still looking forward to it but expectations have cooled a bit lately Yeah, not really a fan of exclusives in general and I can't really see the point in this.

So essentially the new Mass Effect is just concept art at this stage? Considering it's probably at least ~14 months away, they're just dropping a reminder here while dai is the current thing. In fact, I wonder if that's the reason for 3 teams? More time for Bioware game of the year...

I think it was the inquisitir, there. Agree that the media helm is ugly as sin.

Yet still better than 80% of the dialogue spewed by "sarcastic" Hawke. Let that sink in a bit. I should play sarchawke next, a couple of days of watch dogs has desensitized me to miserable dialogue.

So, you're telling me that swooping is bad in thief 4? Meanwhile, I've been playing more watch dogs over the weekend. The writing isn't very good and the game suffers from the Bioshock syndrome, ie. things keep going catastrophically wrong to stretch out story elements. Some missions also have blatantly unnecessary car chaces slapped in to extend them, which is a pity, since the chaces are pretty awesome in small doses. Hate that there's just auto-save, some missions I really would have liked to replay. Love the fact that people are idiots, I've won 2 intrusions before they started because the guys were doing the classic GTA driving and I just whipped out my Biometric AR and shot them in their cars before I even got the message... :D Love a game which actually rewards stealth and blending in! Agree with what was said about the car physics, they're a bit odd. But I do love my Luciano. Have enjoyed the investigations, haven't done any gang hideouts or fixer contracts, probably should.

I wouldn't know, it's never unexpected when they kiss me! Everybody else at work seems annoyingly chipper. I've slept 5 hours, my flat is a sauna (no bourgeois AC in that 80s concrete block, "Finland is a cold country, we build houses to have maximum sunlight during the day!", tossers) and it's Monday. *grumble*

Well, archers wear those kind of gloves, so it's actually a droplet of realism in the game. But, yes, those two are pretty dire. In fact, the character and area intros have really cooled my interest for the game...

Remember you can use the Focus ability to slow time down even during car chases. That's meant to enable you to use those features. Also, if you get the flashing Q will go blue as you go past if it will neutralise people chasing you. So if you keep an eye out for that, you don't have to try looking behind you for the timing. I never found that much problem with the cop cars, if you whip down a couple of alleys and shortcuts, combined with hackable obstacles, they're fairly easy. The odd thing was that if they're a short distance away I could seem to outrace them, but if they're close to you, it's like they're glued. The pain comes with the helicopters. Even when you get the hack that lets you disable them briefly, it's a major pain to target them when they're directly overhead and you're in a car. Also, when they are next to you, it's easier to ram them against heavy traffic... :D

The City was already corrupted when the mages entered. The Maker will probably be final boss. Sandal's monologue in DA2 essentially confirms the Maker is bull****.

Bracing for disappointment. Zevran taught me to be always braced for SOMETHING when playing a Bioware game...

I used to be on the admin team of the official forum of a semi-known band. While the experience was unpleasant and thankless, I did meet a lot of interesting people, including some of their tour musicians who had somewhat significant bands of their own...

Mostly Madden25, did some pretty major shakeups in my Ultimate Team yesterday and managed to shut out the computer in the first solo challenge I played.. So it seems to have paid off. Also, slowly getting sucked into Watch Dogs, so that's probably what's mostly on the menu for the rest of the week.

Truer words have never been spoken. "I want to be a moderator" is on the same level of psychological questions as "I enjoy ordering people around" when analyzing leadership potential. Had a friend who was bitching about not making the ROT and being stuck as a petty officer due to failing the psych eval... which had that precise question. Asked him if he answered it in affirmative, after which he went on a tangent about how there isn't anything wrong in wanting to boss people around. Yeah. Oh, and 'gratz.

Headache weather. The kind of day where you're just looking forward to a hasty exit and the watch dogs afternoon session.

Huh, looks like we'll be visiting the Black City. Which would be cool and not entirely unsurprising, when I think about it, which I hadn't.

Giants have around 6 mil salary cap at the moment, which probably is enough to prevent them from splurging a 5 year, 31,5 mil (with 3,5 mil for this year) contract on Joseph. Joseph already has the ring, so he's probably happy to work where he's paid best...

I don't go to the Bio boards, the noise drowns out the signal there. Random "area reveals" popping up in my FB feed, couldn't care less at the moment, hopefully there's some new gameplay coming at e3 or something.

Rogue Spear is still one of my favourite games of all time, even after watching the AI flashbang itself dozens of times. :D

I'm not, but I still found it hilarious. Pity about Lee.

Which was, you know, what was originally agreed. No bail out. -
I was about to say that in spite of my globe-trotting past with several local honies hasn't helped my allergies one bit, but then I realized you were talking about the stuff bees make. You make me laugh Do your work colleagues appreciate your sense of humour as much as we do? More so.
