Drinking potions and casting spells in order to beat the almighty roll machine does not a game make. Or maybe its does not a fun game makes. It isn't tactics definitely. Potions and other consumables are supposed to bring a strategic level on top of the tactical, so you are right that they aren't tactics.

He must be a kindred spirit of my neighbor, the unemployed dubstep fan.

Or, increasingly, "eww, homos!"

Didn't dao have "regen to max outside combat"? I see numerous people talking about it like it's a welcome reversion from da2, but the last time we've seen bio do non-regenerating health was... Kotor?

And then there's the third annoying group of people, the ones who constantly whine about them, thus making the romances the universally most discussed and polarizing aspect of the games, way out of proportion with what their actual role ine the games is.

I suggest that there are people with much deeper-rooted obsessions than anything Bruce has present in this thread... Apparently 9 potential party members and 3 non-combat support characters à la Traynor and that guy who's name I can't remember but who kept going on and on about his husband in ME3.

So these days even the Swedes have to order **** pumps from China?

Ditto. Deluxe edition.

I'm allergic to birch pollen and this year promises record levels of it (we're already at the maximum of the the three-level scale and all of it is currently long-distance stuff from central europe). So I'm sitting at work, half asleep from the antihistamines and the reason I'm just half asleep are the massive joint pains I'm having. **** it all.

Hahaha, the gamestop preorder is actually horse armor! If that is not a pisstake, then I don't know what is :D

I think the dragon'll be more obvious when this is squeezed down into a blu-ray disc box size.

Its better than it looks, you have the director's cut, I take it? I do indeed, any advice without spoiling the story? Remember that a headshot is a lethal takedown. Also, the ability to tear down walls could be said to... pay for itself. I just used UR DEDs for the walls until I had the spare praxis...

More like desuetudo than silly, but, hey...

As somebody who recently underwent a majorish geographical relocation and ensuing lifestyle change... All I can say us that the money better be really REALLY good, because its probably going to suck. I work forcthe nicest people imaginable (well, for lawyers anyway) and I just can't keep my head together. Meanwhile, in Helsinki, dropped off a job application and had lunch with the smartest and most beautiful woman I know (a co-worker from the old place)... Good times!

Probably because they got called out for calling DA2 DA2 with the differences and all, when they had originally thought about calling it DA:Something or Other. Closing the gate after the cows have fled etc.

Don't you mean buy it on discount so you can say triumphantly that you bought it for ten bucks less than full price? I mean, that will really teach EA. I mean BioWare. It will teach BioWare. To, uh, not be bought out. Yeah. Nah, the proper way is to say that you will buy it on a steam sale when ea caves in and releases it on steam, yet demonstrate an uncanny knowledge of the contents of the game that beats all who admit to having gotten the game from the day it's released.

PM me. I'll drag my consumptive butt down the pub and ask the regulars. I can just imagine you asking a bunch of drunk strangers "which would you prefer intergalactic heroes to fight, an intelligent virus or robots?" Would you believe me if I tell you that I have spent many years perfecting the art of asking very random questions to complete strangers and getting a response sometimes? I do it because I am a student of human behaviour and I am fascinated by how people respond to different questions and situations Yesterday in a supermarket I asked this lady in front of me in the line for the till if she minded paying for my groceries, well specifically I said "do you mind if I add a few items to your basket, its been a hard month" She responded really well and she ended up paying me a compliment saying how its nice to meet " friendly people that you don't know in supermarkets" ... And then you chain those people into a room with a saw.
