  1. Looks like you didn't remember even that part right!
  2. Went to watch the North Divisional in the IFAF champions league, where my Helsinki Roosters came from behind to win the hot Swedish favourites, Carlstad Crusaders. Good times.
  3. Yes. And a good thing it was, since the dlc content, with the more time it has, was vastly superior in playability to the core game
  4. Yeah, deluxe's enough for me.
  5. Nope, southwestern corner of Orlais.
  6. Oh my hat, this event was amazing. We setup a camp on blankets and tried some excellent food and good wine. I am normally not a big wine drinker but I think I have changed my perspective. All my friends are into there wine and when I was drinking quality wine I could taste the difference in the various flavours. The secret to eating at events like this is not to eat too many large portions of food from the various stalls, so what you do is you share the food. That way you get to sample a larger variety. We ate oysters, springbok( a type of venison) spring rolls, pickled fish, duck pate, cheese platters, roasted rabbit and many other yummy treats. I also bought some imported French Camembert cheese which I'll treat myself and eat later. What a good event and I'll definitely be at the next one I swear, Bruce is more like BruceSWPL* than BruceVC.. * http://stuffwhitepeoplelike.com/
  7. There's a couple possibilities, the DVD non-anamorphic DVD releases from a few years back or one of the various fanmade despecialized editions floating around. Tale is correct. Some time ago, I bought the 2-disc dvd set of the original trilogy. 6 dvd set in all. There was the special edition on one disc and the original theatrical released on the second disc. The disappointing thing to this set was although the original movies were widescreen, they weren't 16x9 enhanced. But at least I have them on dvd. I have no doubt the original negatives exist and they could restore and do an original theatrical release version on Blu-ray. Hopefully, Lucas doesn't have as much influence as he used to. I'd wager a lot that if the originals were released in Blu-Ray quality that they'd outsell all of the special 'enhanced' editions. Lucas doesn't want to admit he done f****d up when he messed with the original trilogy I don't think. Will Disney release them? Considering the giant treasure trove of films and cartoons they were already sitting on before they acquired Lucasfilm and don't release I think it's very doubtful, but we can hope. One of the major reasons Disney has been slow releasing the movies is that they've been using the ex-Lowry team (that did the Bonds, for example) for the restorations. And, well, as they don't really have a lot of options to double-dip those movies, also not saturating the market. If it were as simple as that, I'm sure Fox would've already released the unborked versions. More likely there's a deeper collaboration between the two required, and it might get the Marvel properties involved, as well...
  8. I didn't know this was the blasphemous opinions thread, I hope that includes any GOG games.Considering that they are sinking millions of dollars on the development of a PC game (arguably not a wide market) I understand why they're being cautious. BTW you must really think Bethesda sucks, after all they only have made that one game series and that one other game that's like that one game series. Or we can all agree that you just didn't like the Witcher and refrain from grandiose statements on the note of: "Everything Sucks, Wahh!" I was under the impression twitcher 3 has been confirmed for ps4/xbone as well, or do those suddenly fall under the umbrella of PC, as well? The first two were released for the PC and later ported to consoles, if history is to be repeated The Witcher 3 will come first to PCs and it will be later ported.I know. That doesn't make it a "PC game", apart from the some more desperately deluded members of the "PC master race" that CDPR admittedly is very good at playing. Edit: well, apart from 1, which is still PC exclusive.

  10. He really is an emperor, even referring to himself as "the people".
  11. I'm happy to watch it on the NFL Network
  12. Not what he said in the slightest. Despite, he has professed his like of Twilight and regards it as a great work Not what he said at all
  13. Well, he almost did become a 1st pick... Of the second round. My reaction on waking up was Brandin Who? Won the Biletnikoff award, so somebody thought he was pretty good at his chosen position... And a kr/pr/wr was what I did see as their primary need...
  14. I had to go back and double check this was the Dragon Age thread.
  15. Visited Beamdog's forum and almost died from the stupid. Why is it that most people who identify themselves as PC gamers are in fact incapable of independent thought and regurgitate somebody else's same uninformed opinions for decades in a row?
  16. OTOH, running and gunning is also a fairly viable strategy in Silent Assassin, and the way you gather weapons from enemies also adds an interesting dimension. I remember getting the M4 being one of the biggest hassles I've bothered in a game.
  17. Whether Twilight is absolute garbage or not, it might have some redeeming qualities or have "an interesting element". It's those aspects you can't comment on without having fully familiarised yourself with the product, even if you have gathered enough data to dismiss the whole of it as garbage. I mean, look at all those shows on Discovery where people find something valuable in trash.
  18. I played it on the easiest difficulty after some experimenting
  19. I would've gone with: And I did.
  20. Meanwhile, we generally vote on Sundays. No extra days off.
  21. But Athena Massey was in 2, as well. It's really hard to find a worksafe pic of her, btw.
  22. I'm exactly the same, I have enjoyed every Bioware game I have played. Or maybe it is more fair to say the " good far outweighs the bad " around the overall Bioware gaming experience . Nothing to be embarrassed about I haven't (NWN OC).
