its so sad that its an attitude thats been ignored by mainstream gaming press in favor of talking about micro-transactions and iphone apps. making good games should be the goal of every company, and should be their only talking point. ea and activision would rather sell you "services" than products, because they are hoping to somehow/someday make farmville or WoW money on single player games. I think the issue's with gamers, not with "the press", or even the publishers. There's too many people who will just buy the new shiny thing when it comes out and turn in the previous thing without having completed it... :/

I feel bad posting something this vague after Enoch's well-thought out and expressed post, but IIRC there have been some signs in the air that the pendulum is swinging back a bit from the "manufactured in china" phenomenon. That in some cases, due to the economic development there, its actually again becoming viable to do your manufacturing where your market is.

Actually, he's still fully functional in that department, it has been confirmed by the devs. Did you try the Missing Link yet? It's one of the best DLCs I've played, best in the "taking the core gameplay of the main game and improving on it" department.

I would have thought they would had been on board since ME2 which is highly reminiscent of GOW but then again I've met the GOW crowd and they're not particularly smart, or polite. That sounds strangely familiar... Oh, right.

Because comparing a trailer and a single gameplay screenshot definitely gives the most even comparison!

You usually get more room for your legs in a bus. I would be insulted if I were a bus by being compared to those meat containers (Boeing and Airbus both). That's actually true, I didn't think of that aspect. It should be Aircan.

You haven't been flying a lot of late, have you? Airbus is a very apt description of what those things do, I sat next to the CTO of a major Finnish IT company in knees to the chest economy when I came back from the Netherlands. Of course, the bus I rode to school every morning as a kid was also filled with executives and professors, so I guess our buses could just be of a higher quality? :D
