aka fallout 3...we see how much of a failure that was... Different game, but not a different genre.

Participated in the awesomesauce meta-event on Straits of Devastation. First some base defending while they army packed, then the fleet was greeted by Risen ships and a brutal underwater melee ensued - imagine the latter half of Freelancer, but with stabbing instead of flying. Then the invasion force landed and we had to establish a base, then lead a small force to a rally point, while other invasion forces landed in other events and they had to escort their guys to the rally point too! Risen at that point were all tough as nails, 20-30-50 had to unleash some serious beat-down to clear an area before the mobs respawned. At the end came an undead priest of Balthazar accompanied by two champion abominations. With one skill he insta killed a third of the fighting force. :D Not even downed, just straigth defeated. Too bad the Armageddon Armor you can buy at the end sucks. One problem we had was that my friend spent most of the final battle dead. Despite dealing damage to the boss, healing others etc she got no rewards. Neither for the event, neither for the boss.

It's not? It's just a franchise based game, has nothing to do with the movies.

Finished the latest episode of The Walking Dead. I really wish this game weren't episodic. While the game does a good job of reminding you of what happened and re-establishing the mood, it's still annoying to have to wait months just to find out how it goes on. Well, still better than HL2 Ep3 on that front.

If the trading post was up, I'd have several gold pieces at this point.

Really loving the game so far. Crafting can be a pain sometimes, when you're trying to scrounge for every bit of xp and having to gather an annoying number of fine materials, but my sweet new armor was worth it.

Guild Wars 2. Start was rough, like in every other game, but it's good fun.

Finished Sleeping Dogs. Loads of fun and the story was pretty good too. There were a few weak spots, but overall it was a good story. It also has a decent length even if you only stick to the main story missions. Gunplay was fun, if a bit one-note. Wouldn't mind a potential sequel.

You haven't done the mission with Peggy, have you? The drug busts and lockboxes are rather grindy, but that's about it. Thankfully that isn't the problem.

Check your system warning log. Your computer may be shutting down to prevent overheating. All it says is Kernel-Power error and that the system couldn't shut down properly. But yes, I'm likely in need of a new power supply unit.

My PC shuts down every time I splash into water in Sleeping Dogs. o_O
