  1. <-left speechless
  2. We've got a bogey, no ID!
  3. I hope he was serious here, because that is a pretty good answer to the question. In order for a player to be involved in a game, he (or she) must be faced with important issues and questions they're able to relate to. Choices in a RPG can and should be about much more than just "should I do the fetch quest or the kill quest and get item X or item Y as reward?". I agree almost completely, except that it doesn't matter if the theme is done with proxies. If the player doesn't get the lesson with pointy ears, then s/he won't get it with darker skin. And the elves don't exist thing keeps the moron guardians off everyone's backs.
  4. Mike Thorton infiltrates Beth-soft to steal important data. Oh hey, easter egg level.
  5. Get out of ban free card? I have that too. Only $99.00 .
  6. You need weapons, quotes, flames and F-bombs? I can sell you real cheap yes I can.
  7. In the ending sequence you have to escort a REALLY BIG archangel to the cyberdemon, and the angel gives it a sucker punch, and then game over.
  8. :face palm: Great, now we'll have the DOOM SANDBOX GAME.

Brutus was an honorable man. Honourable as in stabbing to death your mentor, and a man who spared your life? Interesting. He was being sarcastic I believe.

There are sex origins: Human noble City Elf Dalish Elf Mage Noble Dwarf Commnon Dwarf Tank you.
  13. What are you talking about? I mean , everyone else can be a cool skeleton for all I care.
  14. Yes, but I maintain hope that it will be possible to join the Uber Bad Guy and wipe out humanity from the face of the planet. Or even better, enslave them. That would be in line with the origin of the character I'm planning to play, the poor City Elf bride whose life was ruined by the cruel human overlords. And most importantly, enslaving nations with necromancy. Necromancy isn't everything. You need living slaves too.
  15. By the way, are there other origins known besides the dwarf whatever, the city elf and the human noble?
  16. That's exactly what we're (for lack of a better word in my vocabulary) complaining about.
  17. Isn't the famous figurehead of the army supposed to gather the people? Or does that only apply to civil wars? :D As for blood, gore and sex, wasn't there more to them then just yay guts, yay naked people? And "somehow" mass media dumbed them down to blood and sex mature and eeeviiiiil, corrupting the childrens' soooouuuuls.
  18. Illidan wasn't really evil imo, more like.. what's the word.. irresponsible. And dumb, but irresponsible mainly.
  19. Didn't solve the problem? Except from stopping the manipulations of the hylden and the Elder God?
  20. You mean, instead of letting the world be destroyed, or letting the world be destroyed later, he opted for a third option? He didn't orchestrate the mess in Soul Reaver just for kicks.
  21. Youngbrain. o.O Welp. Turns out the Hungarian language was created by man pounding randomly on typewriter. Or randomly stabbing at paper..Oh wait, we didn't use that yet. Er..
  22. I only played Kain in Defiance, and by that point he was anything but a villain.
