  1. Fixed for great repetition.
  2. I thought that one was notoriously bad. Iirc the role playing part of it is good, whatever the reviewer meant by that.
  3. Think about Fallout games. You weren't exploring random dungeons and caves, but the setting. Sierra Army Depot, BoS bunker, Oasis (which, by the way, DOES ****ING NOT CONTAIN ANY HAROLDS), some cities- like Modoc or the Republic of Dave- and all had background to share. And for some reason, exploring in Gothic games was actually fun (unlike a certain game that starts with F and end in 3), even though I must have sold like 200 rusty axes by the end.
  4. Except in the kitchen, that could be a big mess. so true. only problem is i can imagine people holding guns while explosions and a half naked woman runs across my kitchen... Or a breast cake, modeled after your girlfriend's. Wait, that has no explosion...umm..the oven blows up!
  5. Except in the kitchen, that could be a big mess.
  6. Hehe, lets not get crazy. Im sure those represent middle-of-the-road weapons and are nowhere near what you will end the game with. The best long term item in that list is the +3 to all stats as that will never be replaced by something better down the road. Remember the days were a +1 to any ability score was an awesome item/gift to get, now they give away stat based ability scores like candy. This isn't DnD.
  7. Chuck Thorton? Thinking about it, how about a Vin Thorton?
  8. You know, that actually sounds pretty good.
  9. I've been playing Duke Nukem Forever the last couple of days, and it was pretty sweet. The graphics were tyte, the one liners were a blast. My favorite part was when you played whack-a-mole with the eyes of a hundred eyed boss alien! Oh and since I pre ordered, I got a Forever 2: On and On Forever teaser as a bonus. Can't wait to see that released too!
  10. You are a horrible, evil person. I mean Jean-Eric.
  11. I actually invited a few Twilight fans to my last Masquerade pen-and-paper game, I had found them in one of the common areas of my university and decided to have some fun, with fairly predictable results as the first play character undead they encountered
  12. And Keanu Reeves is a big fan of The day the Earth stood still, so he only agreed to the role when he was sure the remake would live up to it's predecessor.
  13. [intelligence] So you fight the good fight with your posts on Obsidian Forum. Fixed
  14. Thanks, though iirc someone mentions caravans stopping at the hotel, but that still doesn't explain the other points you mentioned. Yeah, it was so visible that no one knew it existed, let alone found it.
  15. I "liked" the horrible plot hole with the whole FEV thing in 3. I don't get this, elaborate please.
  16. Rewatched Die Hard 4.0 yesterday. I'm starting to think Willis should get a Master of Humiliating Kills Award.
  17. The MMO will be New WoD? Thanks but no, I want my Tzimisces.
  18. I only ever read the Vampire books, so I don't know if there's any real balance or not, but I doubt they even tried.
  19. Self delusion must be wonderful. (Okay, let's stop this now.)
  20. Which is hardly an achievement. That's what she said. She also called you H
  21. I once read an article about media demonizing video games by leaving out/changing little details of 'gamer kills family/friend/classmate' news. Like when a boy killed his brother, they "forgot" to mention that they were arguing about who should play the game first, so it was hardly the game's fault. And I think it was a Need for Speed game.
  22. Which is hardly an achievement.
  23. No, you get a weapon you can use in ME 2.
