I knew a girl whose parents genuinely believed that RPGs are the work of Satan. Guess how many times I had her promise me that they won't burn my rulebook when I lent it to her.

From what I read, after you leave the starter city, the whole game degrades into a hack 'n' slash. Only played the demo, so don't know any details.

The whole "accuse stars of having sex with me" thing is still ridiculous, and I can't understand how anyone can still take them seriously.

The kid (Jordan Chandler) who accused Jacko of pedophilia admitted he lied, 'cause his father forced him to. Yippie-ka-yay kidf- I'll let you google that for yourselves. Call me horrible, but I can't stop laughing when I imagine the hardcore haters' faces when they hear this. Am curious though how many of them will keep on saying he really was pedo. For the record, I didn't care either way, since neither of them provided proof.

Never played anything besides MW 4/Mercenaries and MC 2 (which kept crashing after the ~7th mission so I gave up), so I dunno how a Battle Tech game should feel like, but I liked the atmosphere it provided, and I liked the simple '90s sci-fi action B movie story. And gameplay was way above G-Nome, if you know it, so...

Big, ugly and crude. And yeah, that bike handle thing makes it strange too.

The dev probably just chose that because it looks cool to see a bunch of impact particles sparking off of the Atlas and an autocannon might tear it to shreds. Reading the interview, it's probably the beginner protagonist with zero money for decent weapons.

*Knowledge based on MW 4* They just use different types of 'Mechs. My favorite for instance, the Timber Wolf (aka Mad Cat) is a Clan 'Mech. Clans also introduced the omni hard points - meaning that any given weapon type (missile, laser, etc) could be fitted on that weapon hard point instead of just one. And Clans also use modified weapons (usually lighter/stronger/longer ranged, with greater heat generation as a drawback). Tell me if I'm wrong, I'd never say no to learning extra BT lore.

I believe you can be negative but still be excited and wait eagerly for a game For example here the video looked a lot a "quake-with-mech", especially the way you just aimed at your opponent, no radar, no lock-system for you missiles, etc. If I'm wrong, say it. I really played only a little of Mechwarrior 3 after all! Dunno what kinda missiles the pilot used, but there are a few types without lock-on.

As far as I can tell, it was. Unreal Engine 3 and all.

Mechwarrior Reveal Trailer By the same guys who made the old Mechwarrior games. Not sure why it's a series reboot, not that it matters. Anyway, trailer looks awesome. Mech's seem to break easier, the graphics are beautiful (a bit weird for my eyes, since their used to MW 4).
