did you try adjusting the field of view? it can create a disorienting effect if the FOV is not aligned with how you are accustomed in fps games.

They have done it with DA2, why do you think they would go back to a disccheck now? why go back? cause the customers are starting to get pissed off. I preordered DA2. I'm still pretty pissed about several things with regard to that game so I'm already ticked at the two companies, then reading that article about what happened with the server problem pissed me off more. Maybe I'm the ONLY person reaching the end of their patience with EA drm and "bonus" giveaway bull ****, but probably not. i don't think they'll miss my purchase, but everyone has a line, and I feel like EA just kinda sorta creeped across it, and so my angry backlash is demanding a return to disc check only if they want a full price buy. I'm not delusional, I know I'll end up buying ME3 if its good, but I can make myself wait a few months for a price drop if they continue with this drm dlc online connection crap.

vagrant story is an awesome game, BUT it is very difficult, and very very grindy. I've never finished it because i always tire of the grinding before i get to the end (i twice have almost made it though, once got about 3/4s of the way in before hitting a new area that would require totally re-grinding my weapon affinities so i gave up) still though, its a very cool and unique game, very very worth playing for a week or two

that game looks like it could be fun. or it could turn out like lost planet (ie a kinda messy and short action game)

would be interesting to see garrus fall too far in the pursuit of justice and end up just a cold blooded psycho, who when realizing what he's become is forced to off himself for his own crimes. hmmm, reminds me of vhailor a bit actually. oh well i'm glad they are adding more customization to the weapons, it would be good to have a decent selection of weapons to choose from, 2-3 mod slots for each, and 2-3 possible mods for each slot. don't go too crazy, but that sounds like the right amount of customization for me

i've been dabbling with lots of stuff lately, looking forward to MK9 and Portal 2. last night I played some diablo 2, the night before septerra core (i think i'm not gonna make it again... i want to like this game, but the combat is soooooo boring) been playing streetfighter a lot lately too. marvel is not really my cup of tea it seems, but boy howdy is it fun to watch! i might replay the witcher again soon, I'm not going to get the Witcher 2 on release (will wait for patches unless I hear an overwhelming positive response after it's released) so I can replay part 1 and wait for part 2 to get fixed up a bit before spending ze money. i got the latest version of blood bowl on the steam sale last night, good price, and I know I'll get at least 10-20 hours of fun out of it.

Cowboy Bebop is good in spite of its animation. 100% of anime sucks. 99% of the stories and characters suck. Let the flaming begin! The only thing that could cheapen the ME universe more now with an Anime movie coming out would be a ME MMO. so when you say anime, you mean only the style of art found in most anime? large eyes etc? Do other people have this definition? have I been missing the boat for 20 years? I always thought anime simply meant any animation made in japan.
