Beats me. There is an entry in the Codex that states that all genetic diseases were a thing of the past due to genetic manipulation in the womb. Maybe Joker's parents were a bit conservative.
I'd prefer something more alike to Deep Space: Nine. Getting thrown on some remote planet/space station and dealing with pretty much everything ranging from political intrigue, over-sexed Betazoids to an alien threat from an unknown part of the galaxy for instance the obscure Tholian Assembly or the Breen.
It's perhaps for the best that Bethesda's writing is horrible, otherwise BioWare might have been put out of business long ago.
That said, Michael Kirkbride was a good Bethesda writer. He cooked up a large amount of lore and wrote a lot of in-game books. Same goes for Julian LeFay, who practically invented the Elder Scrolls.
EDIT: And indeed, TLJ was great. It's practically the Planescape: Torment of adventure games.
They speak French(among other languages) there and eat croissants, no?
I thought the entire country is bilingual. Like Belgium, with the difference that it actually works.
Smugglers would most likely work for any side... and sell to the highest bidder. Can't really imagine "light side"/"dark side" having any meaning for non-Force sensitives anyway.
Isn't quality of writing & voice acting what BioWare is famous for, rather than interesting game world & gameplay? There has never been much else in their games. In their trailers/previews they always show off their deep storylines & depth of character choices. I haven't seen any information about the game world itself... they could learn from Bethesda when it comes to building a highly detailed game world with in-depth lore.
A surprising amount of Cannibal Corpse songs seem to be applicable, e.g. "Gutted, "Rancid Amputation", "Dead Human Collection", "Unleashing the Bloodthirsty", "Hammer Smashed Face", so on and such like.
I meant I have latest 1.22 patch but still have the same 'problem', so I was thinking this bug was not a bug per se but maybe something that was specifically intended for SoZ gameplay. Anyway, it is only a very minor problem.
I mentioned those two games because of the open world with wasteland feel & shooter elements combined with biotics-like powers & alien creatures. Oh, and there seem to be vehicles.
Who cares about "romances". They should call it what it really is, "casual sex" like in the Witcher. I shall play as a female character to totally avoid that nonsense anyway.
I just want the in-game dragons to kick butt and have decent AI, from what I've seen in that E3 video the beastie didn't even target the mage who just stood there happily casting destructive spells with impunity.
