I'm replaying and lost count of how many barghests I had to kill in the first chapter alone. At least in this game it makes sense for them to spawn out of thin air. Next up, there's the swamps... and its legions of drowners and bloedzuigers. Luckily the combat is pretty fast-paced or it would become tedious very quickly.

Who cares about graphics? It's about the story. I hope we'll be able to visit all those places.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jeyne, in an unexpected twist, will turn out to be another Azunai Reborn, like the main hero from DS2, but more evil than good. But unlike the hero from DS2, Jeyne knows what she is, and henceforth can harness mystical powers that the hero from DS2, in his/her ignorance, never had access to.

Oh yeah, absolutely sure. This is not the first time they show the new design actually, we could see it in a big Q&A session CDP made a few days back. They explained why they 'changed' it in the first place, how surprised they were by the fans' reaction, and how they decided to rework it as the production continued. Did they change his in-game look as well? Otherwise I don't see the point.

BG2 assumed I had previously left Imoen, Minsc, Dynaheir, Khalid & Jaheira alive. That alone makes it far worse than BG1.

Witcher melee combat's just an excuse to show off the awesome motion-captured animations. What makes combat interesting is the necessity to learn about monsters' strengths and weaknesses and preparing in advance with the correct oils and potions. At least, on hard difficulty.
