  1. I bet Lonesome Road will be as linear as Dead Money. What we know about it so far really doesn't sound like open world.
  2. Don't worry, I bet a lot people will backfire at him.
  3. So, the half of the month has passed and it's walking slowly close to end and no further OWB news yet. I really start to question it's release in this month.
  4. Playing my Fallout 2 mod again lately, while working on it. Doesn't have any subtitle to Fallout 2 yet, because I really suck with thinking about a fitting subtitle. But beside this, I really wish progress would be faster, but oh well... Slow but steady. Finalizing the first location right now, which is a big milestone. Maybe I should call it Fallout 2: Utah, but that would kind of miss the games theme. Besides, it's not fully set in Utah anyway.
  5. Watched the first 45 minutes on YouTube and it looked really boring. Does it get any better?
  6. That's getting really annoying by now.
  7. I haven't played a game with totally sucky combat since years. Sorry, but it's just like that. I am very fine with how the combat mechanism works in W2, I am fine with it in DS3 (hell, even with the controls after I got used to it), yadda-yadda. The hell, I even finished Metal Gear Solid 2 on computer with mouse and keyboard, which was a pain, but I even though it was ****, I never really complained after I've got used with it.
  8. I really don't get why everyone is whining about the combat mechanism all the time. I can't remember any more or less new game (except shooters) where people didn't complained about sucky combat. Maybe devs should cut out combat totally if it sucks anyway. Then we can have Geralt: The monster talker.
  9. Also - as seen in some YouTube videos - DX3 has all turf in one big map, not like AP where you have a talking map, a real action map, then your headquarter map, then again some talking map, followed by the action map....
  10. What I want to know is how it took 14 years to squeeze it out. It should have one of the longest and most impressive campaigns of all time. I recall it being said that it was a problem of constantly wanting to add stuff every time another new game came out. But I've not heard of anything from the final product that reflects that, such as portal guns and gravity panels. Well, that was years ago. By the time Portal came out, that was pretty much not done anymore.
  11. It is scripted. They have their place to go after the dialog with the pc ends and then they die.
  12. I don't think you can compare AP with DX anyway, as both are pretty different from gameplay alone already.
  13. Metacritic gets a lot of flak for being the major review aggregator, and they certainly took a lot of stupid choices in the past, but I very much doubt they're bribing the publishers to be referenced in contracts (and be sure, as the situation is, if the Metacritic was shut down they'd use another aggregator) nor it's their faults that the gaming journalism is as it is. Well, they pretty much support this with their crappy nonsensical system. What worth is it to know the average rating of a game if the used reviews are bullshizzle anyway.
  14. Witcher 2 is pretty much an action-adventure only. But as the rpg genere is so damn blurry nowadays, most folks do not notice it anyway. I cannot rage about it anymore, I am all outa rage about this. So I just live with it and don't complain that Witcher 2 isn't enough rpg.
  15. I'll guess for an announcement of some kind in the next week. Else I think the DLC can only come very late at the end of the month (28.06.?). And if we don't get an announcement in the next 1 1/2 weeks, I really doubt that it will be released this month at all. :>
  16. I wonder how long that mission is. Plus, I find it a bit annoying that an extra mission (even if it was cut out of the game before) is reintegrated as a preorder bonus only.
  17. We need moar room in here because of all that big ego.
  18. But does that character feature romances?
  19. It's a wonder he is still alive anyway.
  20. That's the problem, imo. While I agree that the controls aren't as efficient as it could be (on pc), you can get into it nontheless if you play it a bit longer than only 10 minutes and *try* to get it. I didn't liked the controls first as well, but now I've got used to it and it's actually pretty easy, even though I'd like to change some hotkeys.
  21. I still think that 1999 vegas trailer was the best and they should have just released that instead of the new one. So nope, didn't bought it (yet? Maybe if it gets cheaper one day).
  22. Wasn't it said that if you play in coop and a new player jumps in, that he gets the same level as the others as well? Else it would result in having some higher level and a lower level player in the game, while the lower level one would have a clear disadvantage.
