  1. In DX3, if you don't kill anyone / don't get seen at all, you actually get the most xp.
  2. God damn, I am home now but the postman wasn't here yet.
  3. Well, despite the graphics, it was a really good game when it has been released. Also DX didn't got "shortcuts" and such, but "alternative paths" - they often are at the same lenght than the "normal" path, but they are different. Like it was written above already, you could play it as a generic shooter, you could sneak past all enemies, hell, you don't need to fire a gun in most cases. Additionally all that text, newspapers, notes and so on. Also if I remember correct, DX was one of the first games with fully voiced dialogues and it was quite a lot dialogue (especially for a shooter). I love SystemShock 2 as well, but for me it's totally not like DX1.
  4. By the way, it's Fora, not Forums.
  5. No. Totally no. Stopped reading there, ****ty review is ****ty.
  6. That is a matter of opinion. I think Mass Effect had quite a lot issues as well. Still it was sold for a lot money.
  7. I just realized that today will be a super long day for me. Not much to do at work tomorrow and then additionally waiting for DS3. Damn.
  8. I thought Jane Kassynder sounds really cool. Are you brave enough to say her name 3 times while looking into a mirror at midnight? :>
  9. Got a mail from Amazon, telling me the package is on it's way. So it should be here tomorrow, which means I can come home from work and - hopefully - activate and start playing. :>
  10. Who the hell lives in New Zealand anyway.
  11. I have the first book (have won it once) and didn't even touched it yet. Somehow I am really not into that stuff. Just wanted to note this.
  12. Thats totally default with every Steam game. You have to live with that, there is nothing else to do.
  13. Dito. Not much a fan of Hack&Slay stuff, but I am hoping for some great story- and dialogue-parts.
  14. Will most likely join it short after release. :>
  15. Not that I know of any. But I don't have any local shop, so I have to order it from the interwebz now, if I want to have it here on release.
  16. I didn't really liked DoW2 anymore. I mean, it was fun for a while, but the campaign got repitative very very fast.
  17. whilst i agree to a degree about steam prices, i cant agree with the price of this game on steam. you get 2 free games with it. whether you have them already or not is irrelevant, you dont get 2 free games with the retail purchase. however that point becomes moot after release because they wont be included then.... only then will i agree with you. not before. My post was not only about DA3, but nearly all Steam game releases. Most simply aren't worth the money, because you can get them somewhere else less expensive.
  18. No. If I remember correct, there only have been three different armor sprites, which kind of marked the armor tier.
  19. But if you buy it from Steam, you pay more in most cases. My personal agenda is to not buy any new / soon to be released games from Steam, which are cheaper in other stores, because I think Steam prices are insulting. You pay more money and don't even get a box or a printed manual (heck, not even a printed cd inlay, nor the cd). In fact, if you live in an area where you can buy a game today at shops like Amazon and have them in your hands already the next day, there is no damn reason to buy it directly from Steam and even pay more for it.
  20. Just wanted to throw into some random thread that I've preordered the game now. After reading various reviews and additionally liking the demo, I thought... why not.
  21. I'd buy it, if you can have a romance with boobs.
  22. But what if you are all out of bubblegum.
  23. A DNF rpg would be taken up at least as bad. Especially a DNF rpg by Obsidian. Duke Nukem just isn't an rpg franchise.
  24. I still remember that a little bit, was a pretty filthy move. Afair they wanted to lure him to america with a job offer, but the german police got inbetween and took him out before he was sitting in the plane.
