  1. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I don't want ****ty DRM on my south park game. What a shait. Ubisoft sucks. Relic, what madness have you done...
  2. For me it wasn't a bad movie, but it had enough stuff to keep me raging about it for quite a while if I wanted to.
  3. Yup. But I found it quite obvious to be a fake even before.
  4. But I burnt him down. Bethesda: "No, you didn't" So, uhm, par of the course for the Fallout setting? It's not like importing saves has ever been a thing with Fallout, after all, canonical endings were always decided by the devs. Which is totally fine, imo. I don't like that everyone nowadays is expecting savegame export / import, because it is limiting the amount of possible c&c at the games end.
  5. Yeah, wish they allowed for a skip there. Then again I'd also want them to let you skip dialogue and cut scenes, to make replays more enjoyable. That's also why I haven't really played the Monkey Island 1 and 2 remakes yet. I just can't skip / fast forward dialog... why are they not allowing it? I don't get it. It's not like there wouldn't have been one additional free button on a controller or something... So damn annoying.
  6. Yeah, I also thought the game ended. I was running through the credits and all, then in the main menu pressed the Play button again- then you get the menu to chose the next episode. Episode 1 was not bad. Better than I expected. Started episode 2 now and will play more of it tomorrow. I like the choice and consequence stuff, which apparently moves over to future episodes. I'll guess this is a game one has to play more than once. /Edit: Also I wish I could have skipped the "next up..." cutscene. First, because I wanted to start episode 2 right away anyway and second, because it felt too long and uninteresting to me. Even in tv shows I don't want to know what happens next up... I will just watch the next episode.
  7. If there can't be Incubation 2, then at least there will be Gorky 21. Not bad.
  8. Ryan Gosling is a pretty cool dude, by the way. I'll have to find some more movies with him.
  9. Just finished MGS4. It was a good experience, but I don't think it is a good game. Now don't get me wrong, the parts where you are actually *playing* are often nice... but there are just way too many and too long cutscenes for my taste. I was watching more film than playing a game. I think I like MGS3 the most right now and MGS2 the least.
  10. Crazy, Stupid, Love. is a good movie. Also watched Drive a short while ago. Pretty cool and fancy soundtrack.
  11. Don't think I'd care about a Far Cry story. Is the explore area large, tho? I mean, sometimes I can like a game simply for wandering the whole map and seeing what's there, even if I'm not really doing very much. Depends on the scenery. But if it's not really very big so you'd be done with that in 5 hours or something...well, anyway, like I said, when it's on sale. Then I won't mind either way. The story of FarCry3 doesn't seem to be that bad to me yet. At least it is a lot better done than in the first and second game. It also has a lot more variation so far (mission types in the main story are not the same over and over again).
  12. So if my console breaks and I buy a new one, I need to buy all games again? I don't have internet on my console and I am not sure if I would ever have.
  13. Why would anyone need this? To play mobile phone games on a tv?
  14. I don't think it is *that* exploratory. You can run around and stuff, but there isn't much to interact with. Other than hunting animals, killing the baddies or doing some mini-side-quests content like racing or package delivery, there isn't much to do. At least I personally would still only play it for the story and not for all the other stuff, because all the other stuff gets repitative very fast.
  15. Heh, when reading the topic title, I first thought "Hm, did something bad happened in New York? Let's check it out!"
  16. Still playing MGS4. The last chapter statistic screen told me that I needed 12 hours for it... But I hardly believe that I played this time. My personal guess is, that I was watching 8 hours of film and the remaining 4 hours are true playtime. Wonder if this will change again later or if it keeps showing me cutscenes every 10 meters. So far I can't understand how the game could get so many positive reviews back in the days. I mean, yeah, it looks well made and stuff, but... I am not really playing, I am watching.
  17. Started playing MGS4. The beginning was quite boring, but it got better after a while. Though, I can't shake off the feeling that I am watching more videos than actually playing the game. The playable parts in the maps are really short and I am pretty much only running from checkpoint to checkpoint so far.
  18. Got a Kindle Paperwhite now, big fan. Great display and easy to use, would recommend that one. I chose the G3 version, so I can have (limited) internet access from everywhere, but if you don't need this and got W-Lan, the normal version would be a good choice as well. Wouldn't recommend stuff like the Kindle Fire if you only want to read books. Sure it's in fancy colors and such, but if I remember correct, you can use it only for around 8 hours before you have to recharge. For me personally, that would mean recharge, recharge, recharge, recharge... nah, that's not cool. Btw. the Kindle in germany is ad-free. My device came with activated book suggestions / recommendations, but I was able to disable this in the options and that's it.
  19. I liked RS Vegas, but I couldn't get myself to play Vegas 2 for longer than 10 minutes. The beginning / training / whatever start felt so bad to me that I lost all motivation to continue playing. And since then I haven't touched it ever again.
  20. The Colour out of Space is my favorite. I like to read it again every once in a while.
  21. Finished MGS3 yesterday. I think I'll rate it now higher than MGS2, but MGS1 is still better. Also it felt quite short. Ordered MGS4 yesterday. Should arrive in the next days.
  22. Not really. Some decisions are forced on by the publisher. Like that fugly skill based aiming circle in AP. So it is not everything on Obsidian. Mind you, I am also not speaking them free of all mistakes. Just in case that comes up now...
  23. I never liked the sound of this marcarena song, so I am all open for gangnam style.
  24. I like that space cowboy in the elevator.
  25. Just finished MGS: Peace Walker. Not bad for a game made for a handheld device. Now I'll probably continue with MGS3 or I finish Red Read Redemption first... not sure yet.
