  1. So the solution was to wear it down. Meh. My middle finger joint is cracking now when I move it, by the way. It annoys the hell out of me, and considering that I broke my middle hand and not my finger... I have no idea how the hell that happened.
  2. I am wondering if all this talk is racist against white boys. I mean, it all sounds like you should be ashamed if you are a white boy. :>
  3. Well, at least they dropped it and didn't forced that thing through no matter what.
  4. Damn, welcome to the arm/hand self-crippler club of the Obsidian board. We should make badges or something like that.
  5. Damn man, this thread makes ye people all look weird and stuff. I am not much different in real life. I say what I think, just the way I post on forums. It is probably the fault of the internet that I am like this.
  6. Am I the only one who hates the controlls in Alien Isolation as of now? Walking around feels... strange. Also interacting with stuff like the terminals feels like I am playing some horrible console port.
  7. Yes, in german it is pretty much "1st (of) March" etc. I hate the american way of time, because usually on random websites, if both numbers are < 12, I often never know which one is day and which one is month. Blessed are the websites that write the full month name.
  8. Apparently MGS5 gets its PC release on the 18.12.14.
  9. Of course, but this isn't the case here. Modders rarely charge for money anyway.
  10. What is this with people always assuming Zenimax / Bethesda would C&D everything? I am not exactly the biggest fan of them, but damn, their stance towards modders really is very positive. As far as I can remember, the only project where they asked modders to stop was that Morrowind to Oblivion port. Here the modders copy&pasted all of that stuff over to Oblivion, which obviously is not ok. Especially if this means that Morrowind won't be required anymore for playing the game. In any case, if in doubt there is one simple rule: Don't post about your mod over at the Bethsoft fora. Then the moderators don't have to remove your stuff and tell you to please stop. As for the Fallout stuff: We worked on FOnline since 2009 and never in all the years we heard any complaints from anyone over at Bethesda. It simply didn't matter for them. But if you ask them first... Well, chances are high that they prohibit it, because that's what they need to do to keep their property and copyright stuff in line.
  11. Playing a bit The Last of Us again since a few days. It's still a quite cool game. And now that I've lowered the aiming speed, I can even hit something...
  12. They will be dead in the next encounter anyway. :D
  13. Is that photoshopped again or does that article really exist? Did a fast google sweep, couldn't find anything.
  14. Only bought AMD the last time because it was cheaper. If I had the money, I'd pick Intel any time, though. :>
  15. Just listening to the Bitter Sweet Symphony from The Verve. Is still touching all of my feels, man.
  16. Imo people should never exchange their avatars, coz that is how I recognize them. Then again, I'd like to change my avatar as well since like such a long time already, but I just feel bad when doing it. Much sad panda.
  17. Heh, but isn't this the so called "non-apology" apology? I mean this part: I remember that some time ago people where making a big fuzz about such apologies / wordings.
  18. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=905447&page=7 Probably a bunch of nothing. Tbh, it should be kinda obvious that most of the promises that are being made do sound too good to be true. Lots of that stuff is generic pr talk too. Heard it all already with games like Skyrim or Gothic 3 or hell, even Witcher 2. Can't remember a game that has so much freedom as the Witcher 3 pr talk is making it look like. Same actually with MGS5- I am 100% certain that it won't offer the amount of freedom that is promised.
  19. Well, I played all the games too.
  20. But I actually feel much more precise in MGS5. Though this probably also has to do with the super smooth animations and transitions from every position. It just feels good to run, then walk, then go prone and get flat on ground, continue crawling. And like I said... don't find the driving annoying at all.
  21. Much funny. See. Doesn't matter what you do, people will hate you for it. So just do whatever you want, can't please everyone anways. /Edit: Think I should have posted this in the funny pics thread. Hmm.
  22. I liked how the tank driving works. It actually felt like a really heavy vehicle to me. About the character controls... dunno, didn't had any problems with it. Feels better than in MGS4, I think.
  23. And they could even play with it, making it Windows 1.0 - awesome!
  24. I thought Borderlands 1 was already super boring. Never felt any motivation to just look at the second game. /Edit: Noticed that train simulator got upgraded to version 2015. Cool. Guess it is time to do some trains again.
  25. Color me interested.
