I did 55km today. Shouldn't have done it in that heat... When I made a break to drink the cold water from my thermos, it felt so good. In this very moment, it felt better than anything else I could possibly have. 0.5l really wasn't enough, though. Lost about 6kg since I started 2 months ago. Crazy how fast it goes if you just do a bit exercise every week. /Edit: Well sheet, looks like that went to the wrong thread. I forgot that you can't ninja-open a bunch of threads in this forum and then expect said forum to correctly assign your written post to the thread you're actually really in. Welp, doesn't matter, I guess cycling kinda counts as "playing" in some weird ways. :D

Well, my character isn't exactly doing very piratey things. He isn't robbing people, he isn't boarding ships that don't attack first, heck, he isn't even searching, looting or hiding stashes of stolen cash on remote islands. Therefore, no, I am not a pirate.

It is. Not sure if I'm going to play it, though, as I still have extreme screen tearing in the game now. It appeared after patch 2 and I just can't play the game like this. Tried a couple things in driver settings and game settings, but I just can't get rid of it. So annoying.

For some reason I don't seem to get notifications anymore when someone posts a comment under any of my workshop submissions. Anyone know what could cause this? It's annoying having to constantly cycle through all of my crap just to see if someone commented on something.

What's up with all these stupid card games lately.

The usual argument here is that you don't need an AC if the hot summer is only two to three weeks long. Of course then suddenly you also get your rare "longer than two to three weeks" hot summer, but then it's too late to do anything about it already.

I had like 15 or so flies yesterday. Opened the window and let them all out... that was hard work, because they are dumb as a brick. Went to work and when I came back, there had been another 10 to 20 flies. Thing is, all windows were closed, so they must have come from inside. I've let them out again and then started looking for a source, but couldn't find anything at all. There was no old leftover food, nothing that would smell, or a ventilation or whatever... I really have no clue where they came from. I'm hoping that I just missed something and they got inside over the other day when I had everything open for hours.....

Steam was the first, that's why. They forced it upon their Half-Life fanbase and used Half-Life² - which was highly anticipated (seriously, the hype was crazy big, probably bigger than any new GTA or Red Dead game could have it) - as a catalyst.

Steam Workshop is also auto-updating, which is good in theory, but it screws me over hard once I'm at a computer with slow internet speed and Steam decides to download a bazillion GB of mods. Wasn't Desura taken down? I thought it doesn't exist anymore.

It's true. These half finished ideas are what infuriate me the most. They have the money and they have the potential, but they just can't finish crap. Really, that's pretty much Valve for me nowadays... they just can't pull through stuff till the end.

I played Death of the Outside more than the base game. It's shorter and a tad more linear, but I still like it quite a lot. Billy is cool, the powers are cool, rats are cool,... just wish you could do a little bit more with the rats.

Hope the situation will get normal again soon. It sucks even more because I had to shorten their tours and everything we can't deliver today will be pushed to Monday... and Monday is already full with the regular stuff. Ugh.

Welp, in the end he's a creative person and in my personal experience they're all a bit weird.
