Caesar IV, paying for my poor planning. Every rating's at 100 except for Culture and Prosperity, Culture requires things that need more equites than I have, but plonking down housing for them without the necessary services causes the ratings to get worse. And the map's got hills all over. Might have to destroy an entire area of the city and start over. Should give Civ V a go too, I think. Never got taken with it when I first played it, something felt kind of bland and un-fun about it at the time.

Productive day, for a Monday not bad. Nothing like realising that problem you have trouble solving isn't that hard once you've solved it. Right now am watching some Tribes videos and marveling at their skills.

Aw, but that was fun on PVP servers in WoW, quest zones become battlefields.

We've never been very consumerist with our Christmases - well unless you think ANY gift giving is that. Normally get a person what they need and maybe one thing they'll enjoy. Means I'm going to get shirts and pants for Christmas, hmm. Very small affair too, which is kind of dull I suppose.

More Tribes Ascend, the whole classes approach is bothersome - but it is F2P, so.

Doesn't seem that unreasonable to look at the studio's track record as a whole, happens when people get excited over a upcoming release after all. Risen 2 is one game I'll mark down as having to play next year.

Yeah it's called email . Except one hasn't shared his, the other never checks his. A friend and her husband do something neat, they use Outlook calendar events to arrange appointments, dinners, what have you. Another button ceased to function on my phone, so gave in and got a smartphone, well with no data plan.

Came in to a barrage of passive agressive emails from our UK Dev lead, probably projecting hostility into it though. The gong show that is my project keeps on keeping on though, but woo is Friday. Also amazing how much of a screwup trying to go to see a movie with 3 friends is, 2 say "well whenever is good for you" and the other has the busiest social life known to Man it seems.

I've always played Roman on the World Map. Always feels more fun to me since Civ 2, although I'm excluding a lot that way. As for Civ V, ehhh

Tribes Ascend, I must master the disc. It's not as cool as Tribes 1 was, skiing still feel a bit weird and you stop far too quickly. Also not a huge fan of the rather accurate (at most engagement ranges) assault rifle or the fact there's classes with 2 weapons each. Still though, can't avoid grinning when I see put a disc on a guy from 100m as he lands.

Hm, not really sure that makes sense for them to be 'militant', I'm pretty sure the crap they must deal with every day isn't related to religion, heh.

Uh okay ? Point was it's nothing to be shocked at or more outraged over as it's expected as they're being "funtwits" with big games. The reported 25% was a lot lower than I was expecting though.
