  1. Official forums are rather amusing watching the fanboys wank and trolls come up with all kinds of reasons why TOR will be dead.
  2. Some other stuff mentioned on a call Sold-through 2 million units since December. 1.7 million active subs. Rest have not started yet or have opted out. Metrics suggest players are loving game. Unique logins 1 million per day, average playtime 4 hours per day. Server performance allowed introduction of players faster than expected in pre-order. Server stability has been excellent. Lack of congestion was not sign of slow participtaion. Shortly after launch, server efficiency was doubled, allowing servers to handle far more players and lifting the limits previously experienced. Next phase- new content, frequent releases and aggressively courting new subs. Another major update in March, larger than most recent one. Adopting rates are trending favorably. Ambitious plan to reach broader market with new marketing buys, will be seeing that soon.
  3. Yep, wait to see how it's doing at 3 months, then 6 months.
  4. Thinking of replaying any on the Imperial side doesn't really seem that appealing, re-doing all the "kill $num of $mook" quests, etc. I might consider playing a Republic character, though, heh, PvP might be more than Huttball that way.
  5. Yep some are brainless, I killed the head of CEC rather than blackmailing him to work for the Empire, and similar type things on my IA storyline. Thana Vash was another dumb choice, you'd think it'd be LS to kill her as she's a raging death machine. Think I'm just about done with the game, hit 50 already.
  6. They can take the first hit for the attractive people. Something is definitely off with her face though
  7. I want Vega to die horribly and slowly, already.
  8. And really late too.
  9. I guess TOR needs a Trinity-style expansion.
  10. That will be the DLC
  11. Rather sucky day but had a rather amusing dream where I was in a gang fight with my Rogue Trader GM and friend, Liam Neeson and Robin Van Persie. The whole "WTF" nature of it did at least make me laugh enough upon waking to get out of bed early though. Before sleeping watched a scene of The Warriors (gang fight), talked with my friend on Vent. But how the other two figured in, I dunno.
  12. The textures right now could stand be better, here's hoping that makes it out. Waiting on my other friend to hit 50, then I guess we run the flashpoint treadmill. PvP is just awful, endless Huttball and that map's a pain to be a sniper on.
  13. New release - Thief Gold
  14. With the context of the cops here in Canada, that's the funniest thing in the thread so far
  15. 3.5/10 Try harder, man.
  16. From what I recall, you only regen the first bar. Trying to set up a nice mission in ArmA 2 again, without going overboard and having it turn into a raging battle. Right now, spending oodles of time just placing sandbags in a village to make it look fortified. Will have to investigate how to make the buildings wrecked as well. A lot of effort for naught really, as it'll just be for me to play, heh.
  17. Sums it all up
  18. Naturally. Anyway, fleshed mine out a bit such that I was taken off that death world to be a mercenary which didn't end well but managed to sell my ability to kill things to the parent of the RT I'm with now. Eventually have worked my way up to be the best at killing things and part of the staff of the ship. Did get a nice laugh when I saw the RT mail out a blurb on his character, really have to up my writing to match him In any event it seems like it'll be pretty fun.
  19. PVP as well. And the eternal fallback of grinding mobs for credits and grey junk. I might end up doing that on Corellia as I roam around for scavening parts to make gear no one will buy Also you reminded me of the huge amount of skills I haven't trained, kept making myself broke with the mission spamming trying to make RE blues/purples.
  20. Hm, not sure it would, lvl 50s would get a nice rise in cash they have, but once those quests are done with no more. And the game has plenty of credit sinks - mission skills, etc. Not really sure what to do with my 50 IA now, will knock off Corellia and Belsavis and Voss bonus series just for completion's sake.
  21. Realize I'm being too apathetic about things in life, so going to try to find some motivation to get some marketable skills as my current job is just helping me become experienced at dealing with insane people and putting up with tedious bureaucratic corporate "procedures". So will finally return to that C# book I've ignored for months, is a start I suppose. Also forgot today is D-Day for the client, heh, smart folk decided to go ahead with using a functionality when they're missing about 80% of the needed static data for this to even work.
  22. Lies, dirty lies. Well ok, I suppose 1 out of 6 being not bad does help your case.
  23. Ah ok, meh would rather have the money at this point rather than points for whatever that Legacy system will give when they ship it.
  24. It counts toward your Legacy experience. Hm, from what I've seen it looks like the same amount it would anyways, so the XP it would have given to you just goes to waste.
  25. Apparently quests at 50 don't give credits instead of XP, which is a bit of a head scratcher design wise.
