That stream was a bit meh, too spammy with all the jackals in the chat and them picking stupid stuff to respond to. Although Sawyer did answer some good questions when he wasn't drowned out by all the yelling tipsy people.

Sawyer seems rather unhappy at the entire experience. Or he has a good poker face.

Could have done with out that, but that's CDP for you, everything else you have to actively go for. Although in that game, I guess it does make sense to have a 'romance' with Triss, part of the books if I recall. Don't think the majority of Obsidian games have romance as a central theme, considering a set of NWN2, KOTOR2, AP, DS3 and FO:NV.

And this, naturally, has always been from the meanies on the other side, right ? Heh. The rate that those threads kept popping up probably contributed to that, perhaps.

Eh ? Well this topic's been treaded over with you lot wanting romances to - I dunno, make you feel more immersed or adding depth to your character because some NPC really likes you and says sappy things - and people have made arguments against it more than your, heh, characterization of them as stomping their feet. Mainly a time/resource investment vs. the return on it (so for example, would rather them work on making a city's tale more engrossing as opposed to giving the player's ego some fluffing up). Meh, at this point though I guess they have money to spare so that fluff shouldn't hurt. They should have put it as a stretch goal and milk you lot, but too late, heh.

Aw, why did they delete his post ? Was pretty funny. I've become of the mind there should be romances, but none involving the player.

Hm, shame they've not locked that up before the funding, but oh well, I hope the XP is given per objective - and they can always have sub-objectives that reward different approaches (well ok same thing as objectives, I guess).

Well, I'm hesitant to think PE will be a big success in the eyes of publishers - wouldn't have needed donations to get it going. Does at least show there's some interest in under-served genres though, I guess that just means more kickstarters.

Yeah, but not much point to that, people need their PC to experience things to be immersed, or something. Although that would be kind of funny in my view if everyone's hooking up and just leaving the PC by their lonesome.
