I like the TBS cut of Die Hard 2 the best

It's not too bad when everything else is $10 and up. Price of choosing bars/restaurants that suits go to, I suppose.

Workmate is leaving our department for the glorious splendor of a new division, so there's drinks at some suitably pricey place, so I guess that'll be my task for tonight. $6 for 'Belgian Frites' isn't too bad though - assuming we get a place there.

They'd flatten Seoul, but wonder how well they'd do afterward - well until the US and any other allies arrive in force. Heh, they'd probably run out of fuel and ammunition pretty quickly. That's an interesting thing in the last few wars, forces burning through ammo at insane rates.

Gabriel Knight 3 crashed during the big reveal cutscene on who told the Schattenjagers to fight evil, bleh. But finished off the game, those puzzles in the last part sure were a pain. Now on to Deponia

Well, don't think it was an 'issue', just designed it that way. I guess it could make things a bit too easy to run through an area with 39 others (not that questing is all that difficult). Was funny to be frustrated by a lack of drops and then go 'Oh..right..raid'.

Funny how because he's hunting police and scaring them he's a terrorist now, heh. I don't see much of an issue with people assuming the police are crooked or a gang unto themselves but still needing the services their taxes pay for. You don't have to admire or worship service workers doing their job for you. Also, why are you all on Luridis for defending him ? Just because he's not posting giant diatribes of outrage doesn't mark him as one of those "RIP CHOCOLATE RAMBO" people - why he ended up like this is a fair question. I doubt anyone will ask with any serious intent to find an answer though.

Lots of people dislike authority or police. The LAPD doesn't exactly have a stellar public image, or at least to some. So Dorner's seen as sticking it to them. That and he's pushed them to hilarious examples of incompetence such as shooting innocents or actually stating that he's crippled them as they dedicated so many resources to hunting him that they can't do their day to day jobs - nice proof that quote from Blade Runner is true for them "If you're not cop, you're little people".

Who's pro-Dorner here? I'm not keen on him just offing people, even LAPD officers. Still, if a psychopath tells you 2+2 =4 it doesn't mean it's not true. It's the same way people mention he killed two people as an excuse for the LAPD being pansies and panicking shooting at 3 people.

That is probably the most ridiculous thing I have even seen you post Malc. Cops put their lives on the line to protect people on a regular basis, your lack of respect for the entire profession makes you look very bad. From things like their code of silence, attitude towards everyday people (calling us 'civilians' as if they are soldiers or something) or more locally the giant fsck up that was the G20 here, I don't feel like I'm giving cops a hard time by assuming they're all power tripping bullies with guns. Have to remember to treat them from fear rather respect. I do find it funny the way they're building Dorner up to be some super deadly warrior though.

Yeah good cops just go around shooting people in a panic, heh. Pretty naive view of the cops, you have, it's a safe assumption to see them as the Mafia with badges, particularly departments like NYPD and LAPD. In any event they have him boxed in, they won't take him alive either.
