  1. This sure is getting crazier now, heh.
  2. Well posting about search locations, but a bunch of cops in an area isn't subtle in any case. A lot of scanner stuff is mundane on this, some guy named Kevin signing off for the week, helicopter of some callsign rotating back to base to refuel, etc.
  3. Hm, true enough, but they send secure traffic on a secured channel I'd imagine so not much risk. And the people the cops are hunting can listen in on the radio as well.
  4. Is interesting to follow this via social sites, people have radio scanners and so on - like the confrontation with Dorner. Although, some guy making a fake twitter account is, while not surprising, disappointing. But yeah, I guess he's not going to be taken alive.
  5. Wonder if they'll get him alive.
  6. Hm, apparently he's out wearing a suicide vest.
  7. Still on BL2, trying out the Gunpowder tree for Axton. The nuke when I deploy the Sabre is pretty useful, and the boosts to the AR is helpful with the legendary I have (although it's a Jakobs).
  8. Yeah I got that from the slot machine, the rockets converge at a certain range it seems. Finally got my Axton into TVHM, Warrior went down pretty easy with a Hammer Buster.
  9. Hm, really. Way you worded that came across as just in general. Heh, when people at work were asking 'who'd bomb a marathon' couldn't help but think someone angry at the road closures (whiners cry about that here)
  10. If you work for them, I'm obligated to hate you. (Client of ours )
  11. You could kill more with guns rather than explosives ? If the person or persons that did this were a bit more competent, it would be like setting a claymore mine off.
  12. That scarf just ruins it though.
  13. Looked over some interview candidate's C code for the pre-interview test here. Didn't examine it functionally but lots of bad code like manipulating a constant char * or calling strlen on an integer (that has the length of the string...). Even worse is that he graduated from my University
  14. Most of the bugs I encounter would be easy to fix, if the codebase wasn't so arcane.
  15. Luckily managed to speed up the scrolling on this with one of the managers behind me here at work My pen drawer at work. Also need a better camera on my phone, I think. Out of sight is the box of cheap BiC ones I keep to lend people when they ask for one as the bastards just steal them.
  16. Why is that odd ? And hey, you're about the same age of some guy starving to death due to poverty as well. I should definitely do something neat for my birthday this year, one of those where all the digits change.
  17. Would be a good plot for a movie.
  18. You do know that just goes to sustain Illuminati vampire snake people right ?
  19. Company's accountants messed up, so I ended up owing, wooo!
  20. Also, could get a job at the Mail or Sun.
  21. Could be homegrown wackos.
  22. Apparently two homemade bombs went off. Sad.
  23. I'm all for player being able to shoot themselves in the foot, so I'd be ok with some variation on Gorth's post above. It is fun to go on a killing spree sometimes, was fun to finally "settle" my accounts with those stealing kids in The Den at least
  24. Run for office.
  25. It would. Although if you're in Dark Heresy, well, your boss might take a dim view of you having feelings (although they can vary as well).
