As you unlock more moves the game gets a bit more fun, I found. Nothing like shattering legs and arms.

Don't understand why people buying used games get such flak, really, from either the companies or other consumers. I guess it's moot these days, but is a nice idea to not have the use of the product dictated to you after purchase.

They finally finished that cube game from Molyneux.

I'll give GTA 4 a break - if I have to hear Roman's voice one more time, I'll crack. I do like Jacob in the game, the scenes with Badman and him are pretty funny. Will fire up Civ IV and burn some hours that way.

Ah, that's everyone really and it does make sense - what do some strange villagers across the world who share none of your customs matter to you ? Not much compared to someone in your city getting wasted. Hell, think smaller, even within a city people just shrug off violent murders as long they're not too heinous (and the victim is the 'right' type).

I guess they should start requiring soldiers to be armed when out and about in uniform.

Well a 40k with the SMs anyway - Orks and IG could have bases and be sensible. But was a nice change, I wish the squads were a bit bigger and you could customize them all rather than just the sergeant.

Last time I followed wargames was when PCG had articles on it, only name I knew was SSI, think. Shame they're out of that now, but anyway, if the guys following wargames say Slitherine is competent then I guess that is cause for some optimism that it'll be good.

Still plodding around in GTA 4 and the occasional D3 game with my friends. Did get a really nice Manticore from one, although it's a crossbow with a beard and tail (go go Blizzard art direction). Kind of wish they had more distinct legendaries rather than different versions of them.

Hah, yeah, weapon costs are rather high compared to simple hearts and minds type stuff. Hm, wonder if they ever though about giving the UAVs a 20mm gun and strafing the target - cannon rounds are cheaper, do less secondary damage. Interesting fantasy, not sure much would be different other than the US bleeding cash. They'd always be one wanting to bomb them due to Israel, being decadent, infidels, etc. But maybe less. Can't really see much of them starting to like the US.

Well the hidden point being that I'm pretty poor (think I've made 4 million overall). Gemsmithing is a nice way to rake in some cash. And you can buy the gold with real money, but I'm definitely not doing that.

Have to use infantry for that. And if they did that, well, eh, have to worry about the villagers attacking them or just casualties in general. Not good PR for them to drag US bodies around the street chanting, etc., heh. Drone strikes or air strikes are a lot more low risk, hard to make something like a guided grenade in terms of explosive power, therein lie the problem, as you vape everyone nearby with a Hellfire (overkill to use an ATGM for a man, really). But even doing that - sending troops in to kill the target- at this point is not going to deter the "it's a war on Islam" jihadists, so they'll keep plotting and keep doing stuff like this.

People bitched a lot about it, but as usual for a Blizzard game it made money well. 9.7 MM as the average amount of gold per player though, damn.
