Mentioned it as I always hear the 1911 is an iconic gun, lots and lots of versions though. Interesting to hear the design has that flaw, though. If I ever were to start shooting I'd aspire to own one of those, but would probably start off with a weaker round

Strike Suit Zero some more, wish I had some squad commands to order wingmen to cover me or assist my attacks (bomber mission where the fighters are off wanking somewhere highlighted this). Still, as close to a Freespace game as I've played in a while (not that close). Music is pretty top notch though, in my opinion.

Steelport itself didn't seem that absurd. It is more fun to rampage in SR3 though, even before the god mode upgrades. Finished off Vegas 2, forgot about the gunship boss so that was a good laugh (somehow a gunship fails to kill one guy in a courtyard..)

I do wonder at how they come up with a design of the 'look' of the gun. US and Russian weapons generally keep looking the same though, just with rails and foregrips. Hm...some one needs to put rails on a Mosin-Nagant.
