  1. Think you've made it clear by now, heh. That is a pretty funny skit, that's not the best bit of it though, the bit about failing 2nd grade always makes me chuckle. But ultimately, what does it matter if someone's boasting about not buying a company's stuff.
  2. Not sure what to waste my time on during the night, maybe I'll try to learn to do basic stuff with Unity.
  3. Heh, nice one. Course he didn't really specify the degree of pride he feels. Some people can be a little bit proud of themselves, after all, even if it's not as awesome as the stuff you're feeling proud of.
  4. Gameplay of that survival city builder game announced a while back. Looks interesting, although I wonder at what challenges you'll have to deal with - raiders, disasters, etc.
  5. Still running around in Borderlands 2, going to get my Axton to 50 and then start the DLCs with him or Maya.
  6. You know in reality you can romance someone just becose you are artacted to someone .. just for you to know. That does seem to be common But not in the context of the post I was quoting.

  8. Well at least so casually as a form of stress relief, perhaps.
  9. Well, wasn't that bad. Sadly I couldn't force myself to finish it (oh if only I could defend places with the 'militia').
  10. Hopefully it's more fun than BIA was.
  11. As mildly amusing as EA imploding would be, highly doubt that's going to happen anytime soon.
  12. Well if everyone acts like a teenager, I suppose that might be expected. Our heroes hopefully won't be sitting around waiting to die though, think of a combat team rather than some civilians tempting fate. I'd definitely hope a team trying to save the world would try to not fraternize, weakens the unit and all. Heh, maybe they should put in romances but no successful ones. So the NPC always dumps you.
  13. Well took one of you lot long enough to mention entitlement, and I really believe that guy you quoted actually existed. In the area of cracking a game you bought whether you just don't like the DRM, too lazy to keep your disc in the drive or have lost it, what exactly is your problem with that ? You're definitely not ripping off the developer or publisher of money. But the best pirating reason I've heard was for it as an extended demo, I guess all the statements in the infos work
  14. Well that's pretty saintly of you to rebuy a game after losing the product key. Just seems a really strange case to label this activity as piracy as the company already has your money. Well I guess you're denying them a second sale ?
  15. Digital products work a bit differently, though. What exact evil is he committing by cracking the copy protection on a game he owns ?
  16. Well, no. But just getting a No-CD crack will help him with one of his problems.
  17. Well, if he cracks a game that he clearly bought, not sure what he's stealing there.
  18. Overplayed their hand
  19. Probably because you've seen two, you've seen them all ? Today is part 2 of convincing a client that you can only pump so much through a hose before it bursts, but to no avail.
  20. Who knows, they're not Canadian, here for University. I guess they're just the generic 'kill the infidel' types.
  21. I think it was mainly SWAT officers and National Guard roving around, not regular Army although the Army did contribute some bomb disposal teams and helicopters (I think, at least recalling from the scanner chatter). Boston PD only has one, which initially I was surprised at but it is expensive to maintain and how often do they need one. As for the terrorist plot in Canada, couple of guys were planning to derail a passenger train but they got turned in with the help of the community in the US and Canada thankfully.
  22. Well you mention bomb sniffing dogs being present, that's part of security and nothing sinister about it. Still for evidence that they did do the bombing, it's a bit much to expect them to show that to everyone as wouldn't that mess up any prosecution ? Always one annoying thing with events like this, so much conspiracy talk to sift through. But at least Beck delivered :
  23. What's suspicious about having bomb detection as part of the security detail for a large gathering, though ? So what do you think the real situation is ?
  24. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-04-23-darksiders-and-red-faction-sold-to-nordic-games Good haul for Nordic. Wonder what they'll do with SupCom, if anything
  25. That was Stardock, though. I guess HW has a special place in people's hearts, so some FNG to the RTS area isn't inspiring. Like Obsidian getting the Freespace IP, or something
