  1. Last mission of Beta campaign in Grey Goo, yeesh, that's a ridiculous blitzing the AI puts you under. Suriving now, but am more or less pinned in.
  2. Nice flight time on those grenades too, was wondering where the reports were as they were covered by the next shot's sound. Looks like those guys are in need of an MG, too.
  3. Some more CS:GO, finally had the requisite 8 year old kid show up and say we are all **** ****. That was a charm. Played some more Grey Goo, the AI sure loves the rush in the campaign.

  5. She's just some stranger and Something Bad happened to her, what do you want me to do exactly when I read this article ? Get upset ? Malc I understand you have a lack of empathy in certain examples but in this case we should assume the article is real and just give her the benefit of the doubtYou can do some research to confirm she is a real person but lets assume this is her life story. I am utterly puzzled that any person cannot be sad about her situation..so yes I would expect you to feel something, sorry to sound critical but sometimes I can't ignore an obvious response Maybe its just me, it would be interesting to see what others think? Well of course she is a real person, I doubt this is a fake person set up as part of some softy sob story on the Guardian. But so what, really? Sucks for her to get trolled obviously but it's not as if I am reading a tale of a person who has been tortured or something horrific. I will read it again and try to weep though.

  7. I thought the reformed troll aspect was interesting. Granted it could be entirely made up, but the idea that there was a rock bottom where said troll realized they had a problem presents an interesting parallel to other kinds of abuse. Heh, almost sense a really backhanded shot here. But good that he had some epiphany and gave her an ego boosting apology. I suppose this new class of troll (where it's harassment rather than winding up) have that issue.
  8. What was interesting about that ? Just the usual "bullies are mean to make up for $shortcoming" yarn.
  9. Pretty much, if it is unjustified you'll get off (the cop'll get severely punished too, heh..) so in the end not worth arguing with what potentially is some meathead lusting for a soldier moment.
  10. Ontario salts a lot, city dumps a lot on park sidewalks too which turns icky when the snow is gone - this makes dog walking annoying as that salt can irritate their paws (and my princely dachshunds fight wearing boots). Does make your car nice and nasty to the touch too, unless you rinse it off after every drive.
  11. Well, believable that would happen, I am not sure Ukraine is immune to corruption especially when one has valuable weapons (ok, or just weapons..). Though I'd expect it to go to organized criminals rather than another country.
  12. So long as you're not expecting to play a Tomb Raider game. If you're down to play a cover shooter with a tiny bit of exploration and some insultingly easy platforming, then yes. Never actually played a TR game (I should try the ones I got off GOG), but that sounds pretty boring. But, I suppose I do need a shooter in the current rotation (CS:GO fills in the "Need to hate humanity" role).
  13. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/feb/06/pope-francis-parents-ok-smack-children-dignity Ah, this Pope Francis. Nothing wrong with what he said, slapping your kid on the butt or whatever isn't the same as taking a PVC pipe to them or using an extension cord to whip them (Trinidad discipline, man)
  14. Doesn't, but treating them like you do a strange dog (any of them can bite you) is just prudent. As for cops shooting you for not complying, well, that probably depends on the PD. Refusing to comply will probably get you roughed up a lot at best.
  15. Tomb Raider worth it at that price?
  16. http://bennet.org/blog/tiberian-origins/ Article on C&C's birth, game is 20 years old this year. Yeesh
  17. You work for Lockheed Martin, don't you.
  18. Well, cruiser mounted ones is a bit better than a fleet of cop UAVs around. Well, treating every cop like a thug will keep you from getting your ass kicked or them otherwise abusing their power on you, up to a point at least. Thugs are generally dangerous, like a feral animal, after all. Is more pragmatic to treat them out of fear rather than anything else, really.
  19. Tell some meathead the tool he has is nonlethal and he'll start using for anything and everything, people are lazy after all. And shooting projectiles at people does pose a risk of injury regardless. Amusing to hear justice in the context of riot control, at least in the instances I've seen in practiced Hm, wonder if you knock one out of the sky will they charge you with assaulting an officer.
  20. Well, if they are really sketchy, I'd hope you would be a bit bothered by it even with a low chance of it happening to you. But then again, they wear badges so never know. Yeah right, no danger to protestors when it shoots projectiles I can see this coming though, now your average cop can pilot a drone. When they do that up here, the RCMP is going to kill hundreds, useless bastards all of them
  21. Another kickstarter then.

Have to feel an F-5 would beat an F-14, at least in a dogfight.

Military pilots involved in more **** waving, really. Ho hum.
