Always interesting to see what level is operated at in this kind of thing. Amusing that people who aren't in his office would tell him that, really is none of their business. I assume his management is ok with that in his day to day work and the women present are too busy working or are not weak enough to be assaulted by a tacky shirt, else he would not have been wearing it. But naturally, some one is always offended somewhere so that caught up with it. He already got bullied into apologizing though I suppose he didn't grovel enough for some, skimming reactions to it around places. Wasn't even aware GG was involved in this really, mostly came across this as an amusing bit of "feminists" being "outraged" on Twitter and other places you see useless slacktivists like Bruce et al operating.

Find it funny that they say women will be put off entering STEM due to that shirt. Brutal coursework, exams and the work itself being hard won't faze them but some dude in an obnoxious shirt will. I guess they also expect to never work with jerks either. Have to wonder how weak of will does the Outrage machine take women for.

Ideologies tend to get corrupted in their online incarnations I suppose

Took out the serious winter coat today, kind of overkill for the weather usually but was a godsend last winter. At least there's sun out, I might just leave the office and go stand in it for a couple of minutes.

$bad_guy looms, need to visit $faction_locations[] and gain $allies[] to counter the $bad_guy's army which will wait around for a while. The boss fight wasn't all that bad, kind of MMO-esque if they had tossed in phases.

Yep, did that with my Shaman, already.

Hm, for some reason I thought of flashbangs as a defense, I suppose those would be effective. Though a bit excessive for personal defense.

Hey, damn it, that's my trick.

I've been getting about 10-12k for every quest for awhile now. Once I hit 70, it dropped in the Outlands, but once I went to Northrend it was back to the big xp rewards. It's been moving pretty fast. Yup, I blitzed through with my DK, hunter and rogue with heirlooms. But after all that, thinking of schlepping through Outland, Northrend and then Cataclysm just made me worn out. I still need to level professions a bit, maybe the garrison system will help me with that.

Playing a bit of WoW again, expansion is going live. The launch is a bit rough though. Blew $60 on another 90 (and another Paladin mind you), to get my eighth max level character, hah - bit of a whim as I got tired thinking of the path from 50 onward (not even newer Cata content, there).

Okay, so "serious" is just when they agree with you, then.
-
Well, what do you class as 'serious', before that goalpost shifts inexplicably later on ?
-
Well, is your money in the end, but seems you are overpaying for what you get if you just do it half way. One good thing about sales, wasting $9.99 isn't all that bad (as opposed to the $50 or so I wasted on GW2, argh).

Siege and naval battles are the worst two aspects of M&B, also never fight a siege against vaegir marksmen. Yeah, it's suicide trying to fight them. I like sieging Nords and Khergits, the former have no archers so it's lots of whittling and the latter you can just zerg as they suck at infantry fighting.

Gray Matter, seems kind of easy.

And you get to be pushed off a ladder by your idiot minions as they rush forth to die.

Sure. But if the series keeps demonstrating that it can't hold his interest long enough to finish the game off, it seems he should aim to save cash and do what he does partly anyway (Youtube) or try to pay an percentage in line with the amount he will play. Or he could just finish the games.
-
Well, if you get bored of the game, seems like you should stop bothering and watch it all on Youtube. Or wait for a deep sale.

Fall Sale kicked off, Mount and Blade for free and I think Witcher 2 as well (everyone in the world has that now)

CiV never gripped me the way CIV did. I should replay that, have fun making my fake history for my games as insane as that makes me sound. Forgot about D3, that ate up a lot of my time.

DXHR's ending was compensated for the good laugh I got out of the elevator ride down, was a nice fake out

Not ending anonymity, just ending anonymity for people who don't want to use Tor or something. I am hard pressed to think why his opinion is of any weight. But overall the "be nice!" message isn't all that bad, though online gaming being filled with raging **** is part of its charm. Good plug for his show, I guess.
