  1. In this case, I think you're being the 'hipster' when it comes to hating on Bethesda for being a AAA garbage peddler or whatever. Isn't all that uncommon or against the grain. Also, what's hilarious about that LoL post ? Mildly amusing, half expected it to wander off into deep Troll territory though. The PA comic is about as dull as I've come to expect from them though (oh look Tycho's using a thesaurus!!)
  2. Yep, like dogs better than cats. Though one of the cats down the street brofists me (he tries to slap my fist when I hold out to him), so am not totally averse to them.
  3. Headbutt them back, assert your dominance.
  4. Will have to try that the next time the big boss is here. Last time it was awkward how he sat down near the printers just to be nowhere near the minions.
  5. I am curious as to the ingrained male bias of something like Facebook (oh right, the poking is representative of the act of penetration, maybe?) or Twitter or what have you. Well, at least Wu states what she wants. It's gets a bit loopy when she calls on the Obama administration to arrest ONE guy.
  6. Inclusive /inˈklo͞osiv/ adjective Specifically catering toward the pet project of the SJWs in a manner completely consistent with their vision of how things should be Just an odd article, complaining about games being 'inaccessible' due to mechanics or difficulty. Comments have people arguing DOTA 2 needs a mode that anyone can play...for some reason (they can do it now, I guess one needs to win to play, or something). I can understand someone being aggrieved if their arthritis prevents them from enjoying a game but not if they just cave before the challenge of a game.

  8. That is true. But I am not sure it is really a problem and what technical hurdles are present that make it non cost effective. What the **** does inclusive mean these days anyway?
  9. Shame WoW never attempted to do player housing....though with the way they did garrisons I think that is for the best, really.
  10. http://www.pcgamer.com/godus-designer-admits-kickstarter-promises-likely-cant-be-kept/ Molyneux strikes again
  11. Yeah, I don't really care because she's a feminist of some note, rather than her just being some stranger online who could just be making this crap up. I recognized the story, I just didn't find it interesting at all to read about some troll that had an epiphany and apologized to the person he was harassing. Also, get off it, you write "I don't know guys but I would be concerned with my moral compass if I read an article like that and didn't feel anything?" and then deny you're trying to judge people over that ?
  12. Eh for the most part when watching combat footage I recall people saying that it's very hard to know you've hit something and that most fire is suppressive of some sort. Fighting in a city makes things worse in terms of looking like you have a target on camera. African militias fighting has yielded some awesome sights though, AK-74 firing over the head, guys wearing orange lifejackets as flak armour, etc.
  13. Last mission of Beta campaign in Grey Goo, yeesh, that's a ridiculous blitzing the AI puts you under. Suriving now, but am more or less pinned in.
  14. Nice flight time on those grenades too, was wondering where the reports were as they were covered by the next shot's sound. Looks like those guys are in need of an MG, too.
  15. Some more CS:GO, finally had the requisite 8 year old kid show up and say we are all **** ****. That was a charm. Played some more Grey Goo, the AI sure loves the rush in the campaign.

  17. She's just some stranger and Something Bad happened to her, what do you want me to do exactly when I read this article ? Get upset ? Malc I understand you have a lack of empathy in certain examples but in this case we should assume the article is real and just give her the benefit of the doubtYou can do some research to confirm she is a real person but lets assume this is her life story. I am utterly puzzled that any person cannot be sad about her situation..so yes I would expect you to feel something, sorry to sound critical but sometimes I can't ignore an obvious response Maybe its just me, it would be interesting to see what others think? Well of course she is a real person, I doubt this is a fake person set up as part of some softy sob story on the Guardian. But so what, really? Sucks for her to get trolled obviously but it's not as if I am reading a tale of a person who has been tortured or something horrific. I will read it again and try to weep though.

  19. I thought the reformed troll aspect was interesting. Granted it could be entirely made up, but the idea that there was a rock bottom where said troll realized they had a problem presents an interesting parallel to other kinds of abuse. Heh, almost sense a really backhanded shot here. But good that he had some epiphany and gave her an ego boosting apology. I suppose this new class of troll (where it's harassment rather than winding up) have that issue.
  20. What was interesting about that ? Just the usual "bullies are mean to make up for $shortcoming" yarn.
  21. Pretty much, if it is unjustified you'll get off (the cop'll get severely punished too, heh..) so in the end not worth arguing with what potentially is some meathead lusting for a soldier moment.
  22. Ontario salts a lot, city dumps a lot on park sidewalks too which turns icky when the snow is gone - this makes dog walking annoying as that salt can irritate their paws (and my princely dachshunds fight wearing boots). Does make your car nice and nasty to the touch too, unless you rinse it off after every drive.
  23. Well, believable that would happen, I am not sure Ukraine is immune to corruption especially when one has valuable weapons (ok, or just weapons..). Though I'd expect it to go to organized criminals rather than another country.
