Journalism and Bias in the Gaming Industry
Well, that was an entertaining read. I suppose one can get anything out of anything.

Not saying there aren't bad uses of the time available - 10 hours of the Battlefield theme for example. I just listen to game soundtracks or a LP of an adventure game at work, makes it easier without playlists and such.

The current refugee wave in Europe
Nah, can't call anything in NA a backwater, that's reserved for places with more non-whites But seriously, Canada decided to try to be tough and bombed Libya and Syria, so yep, we have to take some. Harper's under some pressure to take them in, though some of it is emotional pleas to just take as many as we can because they are humans, are suffering, etc. etc., and his pushback is that we need to ensure we don't take in terrorists or wannabe jihadis. Sounds alright, but that's more a plea to his base a chunk of which undoubtedly see them as invading ragheads, heh. Hopefully they ship them someplace other than Toronto, this place is too crowded as is

Diablo 3, motoring through with my demon hunter, got the quiver that makes ball lightning move 40% of its speed, combine that with the 6 set piece Marauders and I can pretty much cover a screen with my balls of sparkly death. Still not getting any Natalya's items though, which sucks.

Nah, it's great to listen to OSTs beyond 10 minutes.- The current refugee wave in Europe
Actually they are very similar, they both are about the humanitarian precedent In Libya the West intervened initially because of the Siege of Misrata https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Misrata That was the catalyst and it should be an easy sale to understand that Western intervention in the beginning of the Syrian conflict and assisting to remove Assad cannot be seen as a bad thing if you look at the reality of Syria now And I'm not suggesting for a second that there arent other factors that influence the West but we cannot ignore the humanitarian aspect Not quite sure sanctions is akin to airstrikes and funneling arms to rebels in an attempt to change a regime just because you dislike them, nor is intervening to stop a verified mass slaughter of people (heh, in practice this is when you dislike a regime, I suppose). How can we look at Syria and the rise of ISIS and figure this wasn't a bad idea. As for Misrata, well, those rebels started a war.- What you did today
Had a nice 5 day weekend, sadly it's over. Cleaned dryer vent, updated laptop, assembled a POS pantry and got up to paragon level 170, not a bad use of the time- Agiel's all things military
God damn Russia, intervening in other nations. Would be funny if they committed ground forces, even if they'd leave Syria in ruins.- The current refugee wave in Europe

Hungary has basically fortified its border with Serbia, to no avail. There's just too many of them coming. A lot of them come in really crappy boats too, and the navies and coast patrols are over capacity just rescuing people from wreckages. And even then a lot of them just drown. It really is a ****ed up situation. Well meant all member states sending people. But no EU military, so whoops- What are you playing now?
D3. I am up to t7 now, going well. Focus and Restraint are so beautiful.- The current refugee wave in Europe

Don't get kidnapped by cartels. Airshow in town, hope I can see some aircraft - one year had the Blue Angels fly over my house low and slow, was nice.- What you did today
Was joking, but yes, I understand that kind of reaction to a sensory input. Certain colours irritate me for example, those shiny colours - electric or something? - do that for me.- What you did today
Oh, so just a freak then, not a heretic. Carry on. I like my Kindle, being able to increase the font size is good for people with awful eyesight like myself, but I do enjoy the convenience of a regular book.- What you did today

Ah, well mine hadn't come out fully - they couldn't actually, on an angle and no room if I recall correctly. - RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
