  1. Almost done Castles, working through my backlog from 1992. The game sure ups the ante with telling you the enemy is approaching from "Unknown". Also am stuck in the storyline loop where Bretagne is continually building a fleet to invade and their ambassador shows up talking **** to me. Tedium in this game is the real boss.
  2. Never gets old people that bandy about "snowflakes" or trot out "good times create weak men" a lot get all bent out of shape over things like this.
  3. I wouldn't. Newer stuff may be more efficient but that alone doesn't warrant it.
  4. Rest of the stuff is Kenmore - not sure who actually made it, mind you. Dishwasher is Bosch.
  5. Yah, I remember you spoke ill of Bosch. Turns out the Bosch is too big for the space we have, so guess we'll go with Frigidaire or GE as those are decent (apparently). Joys of being in Canada (and well dealing with my parents prejudice on vendors and other crap..)
  6. Refigerator needs replacing, so that's fun. Tempted to get a Bosch one, given how everyone talks them up to me , and our Bosch dishwasher and washer held up to heavy use for 10 years. But 4k for a fridge, argh.
  7. Some guy saying enemy's equipment is trash, truly a shock. Surprised they even took the tank back to the US at all
  8. Yep, but it is useful for us spectating, and just in theory, as I said. Although, if the leaks are just an aggregate sum or WIA/KIA, would that be useful to the Russians ? If it were by unit and/or location, I could see that.
  9. Well, catch them in a lie. Not that if they're being invaded matters there, it's a data point and, in theory, truth matters.
  10. They did mention some interesting stuff in the news, like Ukrainian air defense ammo stockpiles, some mention of the casualties. That said, nothing to earth shattering especially if you do waste spend your time following the war closely via analysts and OSINT types.
  11. Well, you just need to be more paranoid. Guns aplenty in the US, that and I guess media scaring people.
  12. Downside to lots of armed people, I guess. https://www.npr.org/2023/04/18/1170593395/kaylin-gillis-new-york-driveway-kevin-monahan https://www.kcur.org/live-updates/ralph-yarl-kansas-city-shooting-protest
  13. If it's r/ukrainianconflict that place is rife with morons, even for Reddit. So many bloodthirsty posts by impotent losers. Well those and people spewing hate on whatever nation is denying Sacred Ukrainians their desires (Switzerland, Germany, India, lately was France)
  14. Yeah that part does seem a bit much, at that point why not blow the building up or something
  15. Do leftists really hate the military in the US, anyway ?
  16. if it fails, Kuleba and pals will probably skip ATACMS and ask for Minutemen.
  17. Somehow I'm not sure Kevin O'Leary is an authority on this.
  18. Got gold on all the races in Dragonflight, the reverse ones have some "fun" design choices, like a tree being around a blind corner or through so much foliage you can't see a branch that'll hit you, heh. Fun use of time, also trying to knock off the last raid...amazing how people stand in front of a charging laser beam.
  19. Impacts on other business negatively, also is general instability and a risk of things escalating as well, so have to balance against that. Maybe is a distraction from China also threatening 10,000 years of darkness in the Pacific region
  20. Depends a lot on what the US thinks, if they want to wrap this up (apparently Jake Sullivan is of this opinion), then Ukraine really won't have much choice
