What You Did Today
Metallica is in town so might try for tickets. Of course mentioning that had some guy at work chime in that they are crap since Cliff died and newer bands are progressive, etc. Metal fans sure are tiresome. Is a small venue - 400 people - so will be interesting to see what scalpers sell them for

The US Election, Part XI
There is no excuse. Replace Spencer's words with that of any oppressed minority and you have very same argument used by SJWs. Well by this place's definition of SJW, am not sure that holds. Black people saying looney stuff like this get castigated. Shame people are either too stupid to think a Nazi salute is edgy or actually buy into that nonsense still.

What are you playing right now
Playing Rise of Tomb Raider. Was 50% off so worth the shot. Even if it is same old, should be a fun 10 hours.

What You Did Today
Only the foolish would pass up on the opportunity to teach your kids that saving money is worth that kind of suffering

What are you playing right now
Played way too much Tomb Raider. Almost at the inevitable boss fight with some Japanese statue. Fun game so far, I am being lazy and not doing the collectable grind.

What are you playing right now
Finally got around to trying Tomb Raider. Fun game, I like that enemies aren't bullet sponges, even if Lara's SAS training has been awoken

The US Election, Part XI
I fervently hope the right in Europe steamrolls over the sycophants that have no respect for their individual culture. Each country there is a treasure, not something to be sacrificed in the name of multiculturalism. Hrm, just out of curiosity, what would that sacrifice look like ? Heh, guess we are lucky here in Canada, can't really see much of a culture to put at risk You're right, there isn't much culture in Canada. Just look at your PM. There is in Europe though. Not even sure what that is to mean w.r.t. Trudeau. But even so, have to wonder what specifically multiculturalism will sweep away.

Pushing along in Tropico 5. The overall plot is....kind of bonkers, to be honest, but what can they do.

You've just not seen the right kind of Russians then. I kid, the raging Russian women I know aside.

What You Did Today
Engineers do drink heavily, not sure why. My old place was full of Brits whose only social activity was booze, being a non drinker it made for boring outings (I thought it bad form to skip those but eventually saw the light and went home to clean or whatever).

Why Political Correctness (Cultural Marxism) Must End!
I would say that it highlights the problem. Limiting the spectrum of debate and removing western civilization history in the curriculum is anything but a detriment to the development of students in the west.Is that being done? Even so that's not going to affect much more than the Artsies. You're a canuck right? Email Jordan Petersson at Toronto university and ask him about the state of the humanities at the moment. Yeah, he's having his moment of fame right now. Hardly the state of humanities at U of T, let alone western universities. And again, that's just going to affect artsies. STEM folk will take their "rounding" electives as always. And students will mature and change. Not as if not listening to others is a "lefty" thing anyway.
