    Always think it better to have a non military person be the civilian leadership. Though most think otherwise. I guess it is good if you have some overly pushy type like Rummy

    Engineers do drink heavily, not sure why. My old place was full of Brits whose only social activity was booze, being a non drinker it made for boring outings (I thought it bad form to skip those but eventually saw the light and went home to clean or whatever).

    I would say that it highlights the problem. Limiting the spectrum of debate and removing western civilization history in the curriculum is anything but a detriment to the development of students in the west.Is that being done? Even so that's not going to affect much more than the Artsies. You're a canuck right? Email Jordan Petersson at Toronto university and ask him about the state of the humanities at the moment. Yeah, he's having his moment of fame right now. Hardly the state of humanities at U of T, let alone western universities. And again, that's just going to affect artsies. STEM folk will take their "rounding" electives as always. And students will mature and change. Not as if not listening to others is a "lefty" thing anyway.

    I guess, but still would be nice to see the way they'd engineer it - this is why OSS is good! - rather than let my imagination run with it. Maybe they will cross reference with more credible media and/or clear C&P jobs ?

    Would be interesting to see how they determine the news being fake or not. I still remember seeing a fake Megyn Kelly story on there, didn't take long to find it was bogus though.

    In Canada? That is a shock but we have to be specific, what type of racism....white supremacy, islamophobia, racist to black people etc. All of that. Also against Natives. Canadians have interesting delusions, I have noticed. And no, curling isn't a real sport

    Nazism is at the root of all things. Can't say I would jump on minorities too much if they are apprehensive at the moment. Not so much from Trump and whatever cranks he surrounds himself with, but does seem asshats feel emboldened now. That'll fade in a while, I feel, as they stand up to be rapped. Even have that here, but more likely useless edgy suburb trash rather than outright bigots. Did spark a hilarious realization by some that...racism may always have been in Canada!

    Every last one of us should be expected to be held to that standard. Not just fools who think putting a safety pin on their cardigans makes them a better human being. It does not. I see.     Well was referencing Mallory's quote more than defending Bioware's choice. Andromeda is the closest one, so makes some degree of sense. Can't blame them for wanting to not be handcuffed by the previous games.

    Pretty sure anyone awake can tell you calling a black person an ape is offensive. Easy enough to gauge the spirit a remark is made in, people saying "un PC" stuff with an intent to insult are just being trash, for example.
