Give it 10 years. From asking about it does seem that EA's evil is just them fleecing gamers (although one told me their marketing was akin to mind control...). I guess the thinking is they're like cigarette companies peddling addictive wares - minus the causing death and all.

Sort of laughed at how the milkshake is mentioned there when it's meaningless next to being beaten. Don't think this is that alarming, violence in protests is nothing new and there's always a segment of society wanting to break stuff for any reason.

Tried another game of EU4, unfortunately several patches have come so I've less idea of what I'm doing than before. Should be fun to fail at least.

Finished Long Shot, wasn't too bad. Certainly was interesting to read the guy's path from Iran to fighting in Kobani, some funny moments as well. The one that sticks with me is whe he overhears the following on the radio ISIS Soldier : We need assistance! ISIS Commander : God is great! ISIS Soldier : Yes, I know God is great, but we need help urgently! Certainly is something absurd enough to believe out of a warzone. Is naturally some overstated praise of the Kurds, as well. -
