  1. https://globalnews.ca/news/6371784/model-nude-photos-australia-fire-donations/ Clever, at least.
  2. Hah, clever. Probably would upset Trump more than them blowing up some soldiers.
  3. Intel chose a boring code name for their discrete GPU - DG1.
  4. So Syberia 3 not only has the worst ending I've encountered in a long time but also the most insulting DLC ever. Has two, uh, "puzzles" and a ridiculous ending. Sokal et al. have some balls charging $5 for this, glad I got in the bundle.
  5. Trump threatening cultural sites has been the funniest thing in this whole fuss.
  6. Ah, if Iran returned the favour that would be evil, naturally https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/pompeo-u-s-is-now-targeting-irans-actual-decision-makers
  7. Easier to put a yellow ribbon on.
  8. Funny, all of this and no Bolton there. Wouldn't have expected tha
  9. Been trying that for a year, not too bad at it but it is a hard language to learn.
  10. Some universities are better than others, also the workload and pressure they put on students also matters. But that's really a small part of the interview, at least in the ones I've given. I'm a pretty easy interviewer, only rejected one person out of about a dozen because he was a douche that 1) insulted my schooling before saying hi, 2) mocked our choice of DBMS and 3) bragged about some corporate award. Did have one guy boast of being #3 in the Toronto DOTA ladder...which was pretty odd.
  11. What about the bogans?
  12. Thought it was just usual Internet asshats/STEMLords that used "learn to code", as weak an insult as it is. Not quite sure it's the same thing, but usual suspects need to feel nailed to a cross, I guess Ah, Biden. The protests at the embassy and the new fuss with Iran has convenient timing.
  13. Same ****, different year.
  14. Alone at work, watching a documentary on Jonestown. Reminded of the Agile evangelists at work, for some reason.
  15. Sort of the same lines. Ends on a grim cliffhanger that will be pointless as I doubt there ever will be a Syberia 4. Story is a bit of a jumble, the antagonists are after these irritating indigenous people for some reason and are paper thin (although maybe I missed some notes or something). About as insulting as the ending to 2 in a way,. where Hans just ****s off and leaves Kate without so much as a thanks, here most of the natives shuffle off after you've busted your ass to help them along
  16. Syberia 3's ending is terrible.
  17. Sounds like some libertarian's dream.
  18. Sequel Trilogy fans sure protest a lot.
  19. Human race has been pretty lucky, all in all.
  20. Towed a ship aground using a ferris wheel. Who knew those motors had that much power.
  21. Feeling pleased with myself for using "Only now, at the end, do you understand" in a work setting. Sadly I didn't electrocute the coworker at the end of it, but we take what we can get.
  22. Friend got me Disco Elysium so I am playing that. Lost the game when I failed to make a jump to a ledge, luckily taking my pants off gave me the necessary 4% chance to succeed. Still mucking through Syberia 3, I want to exterminate the Youkols. Puzzles are still not interesting, too much tedious searching for things through environments that are too large.
  23. Is that some euphemism for masturbating ?
